Exterior Design
The Chery Duomi adopts a fresh and fashionable new energy design language, tailored for urban commuting and family travel, presenting a compact and lovely style with strong practicality. It features a sleek front fascia with a closed grille, paired with triangular LED headlight groups with lenses on both sides and a distinctive through-type LED light strip in the middle, which enhances the sense of technology and recognition. The lower part of the front bumper is equipped with a small honeycomb air intake, adding a touch of sportiness. The smooth waistline runs from the front fender to the rear, and the blackened B/C/D pillars create a suspended roof visual effect, making the compact body more dynamic. The rear is equipped with a high-mount brake light, a rearview camera, and simple and elegant taillights, which echo the front design and show a fresh and practical temperament. The body is available in multiple fashionable color options, and is equipped with standard 15-inch closed rims and two-color painted exterior rearview mirrors, enhancing practicality and visual appeal. It also adopts hidden door handles to optimize aerodynamic performance.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 3,720 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, and 1,599-1,608 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,520 mm, positioning it as a mini electric vehicle with a 5-door 5-seat hatchback layout. The interior space is practical and flexible, fully meeting the needs of daily commuting and small-family travel. The rear seats support 40/60 split-folding, which can further expand the storage space—the regular trunk volume is 237L, and it can be expanded to 730L when the rear seats are folded down, easily accommodating luggage and daily items. In addition, it has a minimum ground clearance of 160 mm, which enhances passability in urban complex road conditions. According to different configurations, it can be optionally equipped with a panoramic sunroof, and the LED headlights support automatic on/off function, ensuring driving safety and convenience.
Interior Design
The Chery Duomi adopts a wrap-around interior design style, focusing on simplicity, practicality and comfort, with a gray-black two-tone color matching that creates a clean and neat in-car atmosphere. It is equipped with a practical dual-screen layout—a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch floating central touchscreen, which delivers a clear and intuitive visual experience. The in-vehicle system supports intelligent voice control, making operation more convenient during driving. It is also equipped with a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a column-type shift mechanism, which simplifies the operation logic and optimizes the utilization of the central control space. A large area of practical materials is used in the car, which balances comfort and cost-effectiveness, and is equipped with four speakers to meet daily audio needs.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with practical functions such as 15-inch wheels (165/65 R15 tire specification), front and rear airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, tire pressure alarm, electronic parking, uphill assist, brake energy recovery system, and low-speed driving warning sound. It also has keyless entry, keyless start, power windows for the whole car, and electric adjustment of exterior rearview mirrors, greatly improving daily use convenience. The higher-spec 405km version adds the VTOL mobile power station function, which can meet the power needs of outdoor camping and emergency situations. Both versions enjoy a lifetime warranty for the first owner, enhancing user confidence in use.
Powertrain
The Chery Duomi is a pure electric vehicle, equipped with a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous motor, paired with a single-speed electric transmission, which delivers smooth and stable power output suitable for urban commuting. The motor has a maximum power output of 40 kW (54 Ps) and a peak torque of 110 N·m, with an official top speed of 100 km/h, which is fully capable of meeting daily urban travel needs such as commuting and shopping. The vehicle is equipped with an electric power steering system, making driving lighter and more flexible, and is equipped with three driving modes: Sport, ECO and Standard Comfort, to adapt to different driving scenarios.
The Chery Duomi is equipped with different lithium iron phosphate battery packs (produced by Guoxuan High-Tech) according to the configuration: the 305km Comfort version is equipped with a 28.5 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric cruising range of 305 km; the 405km Comfort version is equipped with a 39.33 kWh battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric cruising range of 405 km. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, which effectively saves charging time and solves the anxiety of daily use. The power consumption per 100km is 10.2 kWh for the 305km version and 10.7 kWh for the 405km version, with excellent energy efficiency performance. Both versions are equipped with a low-temperature heating function for the battery pack, ensuring stable power output in low-temperature environments.
