It is equipped with sharp C-shaped LED daytime running lights paired with standard LED headlights with lens, which can enhance night driving safety and have a high recognition, and stylish through-type LED taillights with dynamic light effect that echo the front lights, forming a coherent and unified design language. The rear is equipped with a sporty rear spoiler and a large-size rear bumper with silver decorative plate, which not only enhances the overall tough appeal but also optimizes aerodynamic performance, paired with chrome-plated door handles, thick wheel arches and a high ground clearance to further highlight its off-road characteristics. Interior Design
The Nissan Frontier Pro PHEV features a comfortable and practical wrap-around cockpit design, focusing on users’ needs for comfort and intelligence, equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, forming an intelligent interactive design that delivers a concise and user-friendly visual experience. It operates smoothly supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and the built-in NISSAN OS intelligent system, with an AI voice assistant that supports voice control of air conditioning, navigation and multimedia functions, providing convenient intelligent interaction experience. Interior color schemes include two main themes: black and black-beige, paired with high-quality materials, with soft wrapping materials on the center console and door panels to enhance comfort, while the higher-spec models are equipped with leather seats, and the whole series meets the environmental protection certification, creating a healthy, comfortable and practical cockpit atmosphere that caters to family users’ preferences. It also has a reasonable interior layout, abundant storage space and a large-size center armrest box, bringing a more convenient and comfortable riding experience.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, comfortable seats, automatic constant temperature air conditioning, keyless entry and start, front and rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds a 360-degree panoramic camera with transparent chassis, 64-color ambient light, a wireless charging panel, as well as practical safety assistance functions including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking, supporting multiple complex driving scenarios and enhancing convenience and safety. It also has front seats with heating and ventilation functions (for higher-spec models), and the rear seats continue the brand’s signature “big sofa” tradition, with sufficient legroom and soft cushioning, ensuring a comfortable riding experience for all passengers.
Powertrain
The Nissan Frontier Pro PHEV is a plug-in hybrid mid-size SUV based on the CMF-CD platform, equipped with the brand’s mature plug-in hybrid system, consisting of a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The 2.0L engine adopts an Atkinson cycle with a maximum power of 103kW, mainly responsible for power generation, energy supplement and high-speed cruising, while the motor undertakes most of the driving tasks with a maximum power of 136kW. The system’s comprehensive maximum power reaches 239kW, and the peak torque reaches 330 N·m, paired with an E-CVT electronic continuously variable transmission, with smooth power output and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.8 seconds, presenting stable and efficient performance that meets daily use and outdoor travel needs. It is equipped with reliable brake calipers, ensuring linear braking feel and excellent braking performance, and is also equipped with multiple safety assistance technologies to enhance driving safety.
The vehicle is standardly equipped with a 17.7 kWh lithium battery pack, corresponding to a CLTC pure electric range of 113 km, which can fully meet daily commuting needs, and the CLTC fuel consumption under depleted battery condition is as low as 5.3 L/100km, achieving excellent energy efficiency. It supports fast charging and slow charging functions, and can be charged from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes in fast-charging mode. It is equipped with front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension as standard, with mature and reliable mechanical structure, and relies on the coordinated calibration of steering, braking and electronic systems to enhance driving stability and comfort, perfectly balancing power performance, energy efficiency and practicality, suitable for both daily urban commuting and outdoor off-road scenarios.
