Exterior Design
The Baojun Xiangjing PHEV adopts the “Human-Horse Integration” design concept, which is consistent with its positioning as a mid-size plug-in hybrid sedan tailored for family and business travel. It features a sleek front fascia with a closed grille design that highlights its new energy identity, paired with a decorative chrome trim strip to enhance the overall texture. It is equipped with distinctive “Jun Tong Lightning Headlights” with a through-type design and folded line details, forming a unique and highly recognizable outline when lit. A chrome trim strip is added under the front bumper to enrich the layering of the front face. The side of the body adopts a 2.5-meter long sloping roof design, creating a highly dynamic body contour, and achieving an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.198Cd through multiple low-drag optimizations. It is equipped with hidden door handles with ice-breaking function, which can break 6mm ice layers, and optional 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, further highlighting the vehicle’s sportiness. The rear is equipped with through-type “Jun Ying Streamer LED Taillights” with 180 LED beads, which echo the front headlights, with a slightly upturned ducktail spoiler and chrome trim on the rear bumper, creating a strong sense of layering. The body is available in five color options including Zhao Ye White, Chao Ying Gray, Wu Zhui Black, Xiang Lin Purple and Yu Ding Huang, all adopting BASF paint with 8-layer coating process and 2K clear paint, catering to diverse personalized aesthetic needs.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,005 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. It adopts a 5-door 5-seat hatchback structure, which provides ample interior space. For a passenger with a height of 180cm, there is more than one punch of head space in the front row and more than two punches of leg space in the rear row. The rear floor is basically flat, which improves the comfort of the middle passenger. The trunk has a basic volume of 476 liters, which can accommodate up to 6 20-inch suitcases. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can be fully laid flat to form a large and flat space, easily meeting the needs of daily use, family travel and transporting large items. The tailgate supports electric induction opening, which is convenient for handling large items.
Interior Design
The Baojun Xiangjing PHEV is equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, forming a fashionable and intelligent human-computer interaction interface. The LCD instrument clearly displays key vehicle information such as vehicle speed, power and cruising range, while the 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen has a clear and delicate display effect and smooth operation, integrating rich functions such as multimedia entertainment, vehicle settings and navigation. It is integrated with the Lingyu cockpit system, which is deeply integrated with DeepSeek, supporting fast-response intelligent voice interaction that can recognize multiple dialects, bringing a convenient operational experience. The interior adopts a Nordic minimalist design style, with a large area of soft wrapping materials and Nappa leather seats, which are soft and comfortable with good wrapping and support. The interior is made of environmentally friendly low-odor materials with PM2.5 filtering function, ensuring a healthy and comfortable in-car environment. It is also equipped with an electronic column shifter, making the center console area more neat and increasing storage space.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with LED headlights, automatic air conditioning, electronic parking brake, keyless entry, keyless start, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, ESC, front dual airbags, a multi-speaker audio system and a 3.3kW external power supply function, among other practical functions. The higher-spec models add Level 2 intelligent driving assistance systems, full-speed adaptive cruise, lane keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, as well as front and rear seat ventilation and heating, 1680 full-color gamut ambient lights, 50W wireless phone charging, and intelligent driving systems with upgraded chip computing power, bringing a more convenient, comfortable and safe driving experience. The whole vehicle is equipped with 10 airbags and an 80% high-strength steel cage body for all-round safety protection.
Powertrain
The Baojun Xiangjing PHEV is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T turbocharged gasoline engine and a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, adopting the Lingxi Power system. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power output of 105 kW and peak torque of 220 Nm, with a thermal efficiency of up to 43.2%, while the electric motor delivers a maximum power output of 160 kW and peak torque of 310 Nm. It is paired with a 1-speed DHT transmission, with an official top speed of 190 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.9 seconds. The Baojun Xiangjing PHEV is equipped with a 20.5 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack adopting Shenlian battery technology, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 140 km and a comprehensive range of up to 1,100 km. It supports 3C fast charging; in fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and it also supports 3.3kW AC slow charging. It is equipped with a 53L fuel tank, with a WLTC fuel consumption of 4.8L per 100km under feed-in power condition, ensuring convenient daily urban use and long-distance travel.
