Key exterior details include concealed door handles, 19/20-inch alloy wheels fitted with all-terrain tires, and a full-size external spare tire, enhancing its off-road identity. The rear features upright “F-shaped” LED taillights and a rugged bumper, completing its tough aesthetic. Available colors range from classic Obsidian Black and Glacier White to off-road-specific Desert Yellow and Military Green, suiting both urban and adventurous styles.

The cockpit features a 10.25-inch full-LCD instrument panel (supporting urban/off-road dual modes, displaying slope, altitude, and tire pressure in real time) and an 8-inch central control screen integrating navigation, voice control, and smartphone connectivity. High-end versions add Nappa leather seats, 12-way electric adjustment with heating/ventilation, rear independent electric seats, and a refrigerated central armrest, elevating the premium feel.
Sound insulation is prioritized with multi-layer acoustic materials, ensuring a quiet cabin for long drives.   • 2.3T L4 Turbo + 6AT: Derived from advanced technology, delivering 170 kW (231 hp) and 345 N·m. The cast-iron cylinder block offers high temperature and wear resistance, ensuring durability in extreme conditions.
  • 3.0T V6 Twin-Turbo + 8AT: The performance flagship, producing 206 kW (280 hp) and 420 N·m, paired with a 8AT transmission for smooth, precise shifts. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h, with linear power delivery and minimal vibration (≤0.5 g during 100 km/h acceleration) for both on-road and off-road scenarios.
Both versions use 92# gasoline, with a combined fuel consumption of approximately 11.2 L/100 km (NEDC) and an 85 L fuel tank, providing long-range convenience for cross-country travel. The transmission undergoes 500,000 km durability testing, ensuring reliable performance in off-road conditions.

Off-road Capability & Chassis

Built on a body-on-frame chassis with a reinforced trapezoidal frame, the BJ80 delivers exceptional torsional rigidity—3x higher than mainstream city SUVs—minimizing body deformation in extreme terrain. It is equipped with an electronically controlled part-time 4WD system (2H/4H/4L modes), with 4L mode multiplying torque by 2.72 times for low-speed crawling and maximum traction.
Key off-road hardware includes a rear electronic limited-slip differential as standard, with high-end versions adding a front differential lock for superior traction. Even in single-wheel traction scenarios (e.g., cross-axis, shell pits), it maintains stable grip and off-road capability.
The suspension features a double-transverse arm independent front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension, balancing on-road comfort with off-road durability. The high-strength steel body (over 60% high-strength steel) and integrated roll cage provide all-round protection in challenging conditions.
