The Buick ELECTRA E4 inherits the brand’s PURE Design concept and highly restores the design of the Electra-X concept car, featuring a sleek and dynamic coupe SUV silhouette with a smooth fastback roofline that not only enhances its sporty appeal but also achieves an excellent drag coefficient of 0.287Cd. It is equipped with narrow and slender split LED daytime running lights and a large honeycomb-shaped grille, paired with fangs-like chrome trim on both sides, creating a strong sense of movement and high recognition. The rear is fitted with dual spoilers and continuous through-type taillights, matched with vertical trim strips to enhance visual tension, while the upper-narrow and lower-wide design makes the rear look more solid and distinctive. The GS version is upgraded with sporty kits, including blackened exterior details, 20-inch two-tone wheels and Brembo six-piston brake calipers, further highlighting its sporty temperament. The body is available in multiple fashionable color options, including Crystal White, Dynamic Blue, and Tech Gray, catering to the personalized needs of young consumers.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,818 mm in length, 1,912 mm in width, and 1,581 mm in height, with a spacious wheelbase of 2,954 mm, belonging to the mid-size SUV category. Benefiting from the奥特能 electric vehicle platform, it provides ample interior space for both front and rear passengers, with 1,013 mm of headroom in the front row and 975 mm of headroom in the rear row, along with 1176 mm of knee room in the rear, ensuring a comfortable riding experience for all occupants. The overall body proportions are coordinated, with smooth side lines and short overhangs, presenting a dynamic and fashionable style that combines sportiness and practicality.
Interior Design
The Buick ELECTRA E4 features a minimalist and futuristic interior design, adopting the VCS intelligent cockpit layout with a floating center console and blue-purple gradient trim extending from the center control area to both door panels, creating a strong sense of future technology. It is equipped with a 30-inch curved 6K dual-screen inclined to the driver’s seat, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, which delivers a clear and smooth interactive experience, supports wireless CarPlay and OTA upgrades, and retains physical buttons for convenient operation by drivers and passengers. Interior color schemes include Pure White, Tech Black, and the GS version’s exclusive Night Shine Copper interior, matched with large-area soft leather,搪塑 materials and suede covering, highlighting the premium texture and comfort. The cabin is surrounded by 121-color breathing ambient lights, and a 1.2㎡ full-view dome sunroof with low-emissivity glass, which can block 99.99% of ultraviolet rays, bringing a bright and comfortable riding atmosphere.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch wheels, front and rear airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and cruise control, among other practical functions, and is also equipped with Buick’s library quiet technology, 5mm double-layer acoustic glass and full-dimensional acoustic cladding to create an extremely quiet cabin environment. The higher-spec GS long-range four-wheel drive version adds sporty configurations such as GS bucket sports seats with strong wrapping and support, GS illuminated welcome pedals and exclusive pattern trim. It also features up to 28 efficient storage spaces, a 441L partitioned trunk with detachable storage boxes, and a dual-layer flow air conditioning system, while supporting external power supply function to meet the needs of camping, fishing and other scenarios. All models are equipped with Level 2 intelligent driving assistance functions to reduce the burden on drivers during driving.
Powertrain
The Buick ELECTRA E4 is a pure electric vehicle built on the Ultium electric platform, equipped with the self-developed Ultium “eight-in-one” electric drive system with high integration and power density. The standard range version adopts a front-mounted single motor front-wheel drive layout, with a maximum power of 180 kW and a peak torque of 330 Nm, an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.6 seconds, and a top speed of 180 km/h, which is equivalent to the power level of a 2.0T high-power engine, providing strong and smooth acceleration performance. The GS long-range four-wheel drive version adopts a front permanent magnet and rear induction asynchronous motor layout, with a combined maximum power of 211 kW and a peak torque of 465 Nm, an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.2 seconds, delivering more exciting driving experience.
The vehicle is equipped with different capacity lithium iron phosphate battery packs according to the configuration: the standard range version is equipped with a 65 kWh battery pack supplied by BYD’s Fudi Battery, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 530 km, with a minimum power consumption of 13.4 kWh/100 km; the GS long-range four-wheel drive version is equipped with a 79.7 kWh battery pack, with a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 620 km. It supports DC fast charging, taking about 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and the slow charging time is 10.8 hours. It is also equipped with the BEV HEAT dual-heat source thermal management system with heat pump air conditioning technology, which can reasonably distribute energy according to battery and ambient temperature, optimizing winter range performance, and the battery pack is protected by multiple innovative technologies such as the wBMS wireless battery management system to ensure safety and durability.
