The BYD Han L EV is BYD’s flagship all-electric midsize sedan, unveiled in March 2025 and launched in April. Developed on the Super e Platform and featuring a 1,000-volt high-voltage architecture, the model incorporates the “LOONG FACE” design language and “Chinese Knot” full-width taillights. The all-wheel-drive version delivers a total system power of 810 kW, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, has a top speed of 305 km/h, and offers a CLTC range of 701 km, with support for fast-charging technology.

Exterior Design

The BYD Han L EV is a mid-size and large pure electric sedan, equipped with a closed front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through-type LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 19-inch wheel configurations. Partial versions are fitted with roof-mounted lidar sensors and semi-hidden door handles. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 4-door 5-seater layout. The body dimensions are 5050 mm in length, 1960 mm in width and 1505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2970 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rotatable central touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic constant temperature heat pump air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry, one-key start and NFC vehicle key functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging, 6kW external vehicle discharge and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The BYD Han L EV adopts pure electric rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive layouts, matched with single-speed electric transmission. The rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 500 kW. The four-wheel drive version has a comprehensive system maximum power of 810 kW. The electronically limited top speed is 240 km/h for rear-wheel drive models and 270 km/h for four-wheel drive models.
The vehicle is equipped with an 83.2 kWh blade lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The CLTC comprehensive cruising range is 701 km for rear-wheel drive versions and 601 km for four-wheel drive versions. The vehicle adopts 1000V high-voltage platform, supporting DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system.
