Exterior Design
The BYD Song L EV is a mid-size pure electric SUV, equipped with a closed front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through-type LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 19-inch wheel configurations. Partial versions are fitted with roof-mounted lidar sensors and semi-hidden door handles. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seater layout. The body dimensions are 4840 mm in length, 1950 mm in width and 1560 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2930 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and electric tailgate are standard configurations.
Interior Design
The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a rotatable central touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic constant temperature heat pump air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging and OTA upgrade functions.
Powertrain
The BYD Song L EV adopts rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive layouts, matched with single-speed electric transmission. The low-power rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 150 kW. The high-power rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 230 kW and a peak torque of 360 Nm. The four-wheel drive version has a system comprehensive maximum power of 380 kW and a peak torque of 670 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with blade lithium iron phosphate battery packs with capacities of 71.8 kWh and 87.04 kWh. The CLTC comprehensive cruising range covers 550 km, 602 km and 662 km for different versions. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions, with 30%-80% fast charging completed in 25 minutes. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and Yunniang-C intelligent damping body control system.
