The Sealion 07 EV is the first midsize all-electric SUV under BYD’s Ocean Network. Built on the e-Platform 3.0 Evo and featuring 12 world-first technologies, it measures 4,830 × 1,925 × 1,620 mm with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. It is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, electric sunshades, and a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system.

Exterior Design

The BYD Sealion 07 EV is a mid-size pure electric SUV, equipped with a closed front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through-type LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 19-inch wheel configurations. Partial versions are fitted with roof-mounted lidar sensors and semi-hidden door handles. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seater layout. The body dimensions are 4830 mm in length, 1925 mm in width and 1620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and electric tailgate are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a rotatable central touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic constant temperature heat pump air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The BYD Sealion 07 EV adopts rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive layouts, matched with single-speed electric transmission. The rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 230 kW and a peak torque of 380 Nm. The four-wheel drive version has a system comprehensive maximum power of 390 kW and a peak torque of 690 Nm. The electronically limited top speed is 225 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with 80.64 kWh blade lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The CLTC comprehensive cruising range covers 550 km and 610 km for different versions. The vehicle adopts an 800V high-voltage platform, supporting DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions, with 10%-80% fast charging completed in 24 minutes. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and intelligent damping body control system.
