Exterior Design
The BYD Tang L EV is a mid-size and large pure electric SUV, equipped with a polygon front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through-type LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 20-inch wheel configurations. Partial versions are fitted with roof-mounted lidar sensors and semi-hidden door handles. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 5-door 7-seater layout. The body dimensions are 5215 mm in length, 1996 mm in width and 1765 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2950 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and electric tailgate are standard configurations.
Interior Design
The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rotatable central touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and dual-zone automatic constant temperature heat pump air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry, one-key start and NFC vehicle key functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging and OTA upgrade functions.
Powertrain
The BYD Tang L EV adopts pure electric rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive layouts, matched with single-speed electric transmission. The rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 500 kW. The four-wheel drive version has a comprehensive system maximum power of 810 kW and a peak torque of 1100 Nm. The electronically limited top speed is 210 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with a 100.5 kWh blade lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The CLTC comprehensive cruising range is 670 km for rear-wheel drive versions and 600 km for four-wheel drive versions. The vehicle adopts 1000V high-voltage platform, supporting dual-gun DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and intelligent air suspension system.
