The BYD Yuan UP is a compact all-electric SUV from BYD, built on the e-Platform 3.0 and featuring Blade Battery technology and CTB (Cell-to-Body) integration. It measures 4,310 × 1,830 × 1,675 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm. The vehicle features a closed-off front grille, full-width taillights, and semi-concealed door handles. The interior is equipped with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen, and offers a two-tone color scheme. The 130-kilowatt permanent magnet synchronous motor is available in two range variants—301 km and 401 km—and supports 30-minute fast charging (30%–80%).

Exterior Design

The BYD Yuan UP adopts the “Trendy Loong Face” design language, with a closed grille, “Round Ring” dragon crystal LED headlights and “Lucky Ring” through-type taillights echoing each other. It has a smooth contour, semi-hidden door handles and a floating body, with a 5-door 5-seat compact SUV layout. Its dimensions are 4310×1830×1675mm, with a wheelbase of 2620mm, and multiple fashionable body colors including Relaxed Green and Bold Pink availablesuperscript:4.

Interior Design

The interior features an energetic wrap-around cockpit, paired with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch floating central touchscreen. It is equipped with DiLink intelligent cockpit and column-mounted shifter, using high-quality materials. Standard automatic air conditioning, multiple storage spaces and mobile phone charging ports ensure comfort and practicality. High-spec models add 360° panoramic camera and L2-level intelligent driving assistance systemsuperscript:10.

Powertrain

Built on e-platform 3.0, it is equipped with an 8-in-1 electric drive system and blade battery. It offers two power options with maximum power of 70kW and 130kW, providing CLTC pure electric ranges of 301km and 401km. It supports fast charging (30%-80% in 30 minutes) and 3.3kW external discharge, with a minimum 12kWh/100km power consumption and a maximum speed of 160km/hsuperscript:5.
