Exterior Design
The Cadillac GT4, as the brand’s first coupe SUV, inherits the iconic diamond-cut design language of Cadillac, while interpreting the forward-looking design of the ESCALA concept car in a new way, consistent with other modern Cadillac models but with a more dynamic and sleek coupe style. It features a sporty and low-slung front fascia with a V-shield active air intake grille and split-style headlights—inline LED lightning daytime running lights on the top with strong recognition and exclusive welcome/leave light language with dynamic flowing effects, and main headlights located below the grille, enhancing its unique visual appeal. The rear is equipped with sharp T-shaped taillights connected by a through-type chrome trim, paired with a high-mounted spoiler and optional black-red contrast color design, creating a strong visual impact, while the optional sporty exterior kit (including a dark grille and quad exhaust layout) further accentuates its sporty charm. The body adopts a sleek sloping roof line extending from the front to the rear, paired with smoked rearview mirrors and chrome window trim, complemented by multi-style alloy wheels (19-inch as standard) that highlight its dynamic and elegant coupe aesthetics. The vehicle is available in a variety of exterior color options, including Crystal White Tricoat, Manhattan Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, and a newly added simple and tough gray color, catering to the personalized aesthetic needs of young fashion consumers.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,633 mm in length, 1,878 mm in width, and 1,535 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. It can comfortably seat up to 5 passengers, with ample front headroom and legroom; for a 172cm occupant, the front headroom is about one punch and two fingers, and the rear legroom is two punches, while the rear headroom is four fingers, providing a cozy riding experience for both front and rear occupants despite the coupe-style sloping roof. The rear seats feature a 60/40 split-folding design, which not only improves the flexibility of seating and storage but also expands the cargo space significantly when folded flat, with a neat trunk interior that easily meets the needs of daily commuting, weekend getaways and small-item storage.
Interior Design
The Cadillac GT4 is equipped with a 33-inch curved ultra-retina display that integrates the digital instrument cluster and central control system, powered by an 8155 chip and supporting 5G connectivity, which can be divided into three functional areas for menu, instrument and central control, with rich display information and smooth operation experience. The interior adopts a wrap-around yacht-style luxury cockpit design, adorned with high-end materials such as high-grade brushed real aluminum trim, chrome decorations and premium leather, paired with a new Piping stitching process and 26-color ambient lighting to create a refined, luxurious and fashionable atmosphere. Interior color schemes are rich and fashionable, including six options such as Dark Knight Starry Black, Galaxy Nebula Deep Space Silver, West Coast Klein Blue, Star Trek Polar Blue, Beverly Hills Cream and California Sunset Piano Red, among which the red color scheme is exclusive to the 2.0T sporty version, with red elements integrated into the center console, seats and door panels, and red safety belts to enhance the sporty atmosphere inside the car.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking assist, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, self-sealing tires (no spare tire), and a panoramic sunroof, as well as a full-color HUD head-up display and voice control function for enhanced convenience and safety. The higher-spec versions add more high-end configurations, including wireless phone charging, a hands-free power liftgate, heated and ventilated front seats with multi-directional electric adjustment and lumbar support, as well as advanced safety features such as side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera system. The top-spec models are also equipped with a studio-grade 15-speaker AKG high-fidelity sound system and ANC active noise cancellation technology, creating a quiet and immersive riding environment.
Powertrain
The Cadillac GT4 offers two powertrain options to meet different consumer needs: a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, both paired with a 48V mild hybrid system as standard, which effectively improves start-stop smoothness, reduces turbo lag and optimizes fuel economy. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum power output of 155 kW (204 horsepower) and a peak torque of 270 Nm, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.8 seconds; the 2.0T variable-cylinder turbocharged direct-injection engine adopts a “single-cylinder optimization concept”, reducing weight by 14% with intelligent cylinder deactivation technology, delivering a maximum power output of 174 kW (230 horsepower) and a peak torque of 350 Nm, which can be fully released at 1500 rpm, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.8 seconds. Both engines are matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission with clear shift logic, ensuring smooth and responsive shifting performance, with an official top speed of 200 km/h for the 2.0T version.
In terms of fuel economy, the GT4 achieves a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 7.47 L/100km for the 2.0T version, with a full tank of fuel enabling a long cruising range. The vehicle is also available with an optional Twin-Clutch intelligent on-demand four-wheel drive system, paired with a front MacPherson and rear five-link independent suspension (with large-area aluminum alloy control arms to reduce unsprung mass), enhancing its handling performance and adaptability to complex road conditions, perfectly balancing urban commuting comfort and sporty driving fun.
