Exterior Design

The Cadillac XT5 inherits the brand’s classic diamond-cut design language, which is consistent with other modern Cadillac SUV models, featuring a bold and sleek front fascia with inline streamer matrix headlights that deliver strong recognition and adaptive anti-glare high beams for added safety. The rear is equipped with wing-shaped taillights inspired by the Eldorado rocket tail fin, echoing the front headlights to create an elegant light language, while the optional high-performance V-Sport package and customized Brembo six-piston calipers with racing red paint enhance its sporty aura significantly. The body adopts a floating roof design paired with floating island-style smoked rearview mirrors, complemented by newly designed wheel styles including optional 21-inch large wheels that highlight its mechanical beauty. The vehicle is available in multiple exterior color options, including Crystal White Tricoat, Midnight Sky Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, and Opulent Blue Metallic, catering to diverse aesthetic needs of consumers.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,813 mm in length, 1,903 mm in width, and 1,686 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,857 mm (converted from imperial units in official specs). It can comfortably seat up to 5 passengers, with 1,046 mm of front legroom and 991 mm of rear legroom (converted from 41.2 inches and 39 inches respectively), offering spacious and comfortable riding experience for both front and rear passengers. The rear seats feature a 60/40 split-folding design, which not only improves the flexibility of seating and storage but also expands the cargo space to up to 1,784 liters (63 cubic feet) when folded flat, easily meeting the needs of daily commuting, long-distance travel and camping equipment storage.

Interior Design

The Cadillac XT5 is equipped with a 33-inch curved ultra-retina display that integrates the digital instrument cluster and central control system, delivering a stunning visual experience with Mini-LED partitioned backlight technology for clearer and more vivid display effects. The interior adopts a unique luxury yacht design, adorned with high-end materials such as genuine wood, aluminum or carbon fiber accents, paired with premium leather seats (available with mini-perforated inserts) to create a refined and luxurious atmosphere. Interior color schemes include Jet Black, Cirrus with Dark Titanium Accents, Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black Accents, and Kona Brown Sauvage with Jet Black Accents, satisfying personalized preferences of different consumers.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, front and rear parking assist, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a Bose premium 8-speaker sound system, among other practical functions. The higher-spec Premium Luxury and Sport versions add more high-end configurations, including 20-inch alloy wheels, wireless phone charging, a hands-free power liftgate, heated front seats and steering wheel, as well as advanced safety features such as side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera system. The top-spec models are also equipped with the world-class AKG flagship high-fidelity sound system with 1000W output power and active noise cancellation technology, creating a quiet and comfortable riding environment.

Powertrain

The Cadillac XT5 is fully equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine combined with a 48V mild hybrid system, which effectively improves start-stop smoothness and reduces turbo lag while optimizing fuel economy. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 174 kW (237 horsepower) and a peak torque of 350 Nm, which can be fully released at 1500-4000 rpm, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission for smooth and responsive shifting performance. The official top speed of the vehicle is 210 km/h, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.0 seconds for the rear-wheel drive version and 8.3 seconds for the all-wheel drive version.
In terms of fuel economy, the XT5 achieves a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 7.71 L/100km for the rear-wheel drive version and 8.23-8.33 L/100km for the all-wheel drive version, with a full tank of fuel enabling a cruising range of nearly 1000 km (WLTC comprehensive). The vehicle is also available with an optional Twin-clutch Hummingbird vector four-wheel drive system and RTD Hummingbird electronic real-time damping adjustable suspension, enhancing its handling performance and adaptability to complex road conditions, perfectly balancing urban commuting comfort and light off-road capabilities.
