The Changan CS95 adopts Changan’s latest family-style design language, featuring a bold and majestic front fascia dominated by a large wide-winged grille with matte texture and bright chrome strips, flanked by sleek full-LED headlights and distinctive C-shaped LED daytime running lights that enhance its high recognition. The rear is equipped with stylish full-LED taillights that echo the front headlights, paired with a hidden exhaust decorated with bilateral dual-outlet trim and a subtly designed spoiler, presenting a perfect combination of elegance and power. The body is available in four color options: Elf White, Andes Gray, Noble Black, and Earth Brown, catering to different aesthetic needs of users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,949 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,785 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large SUV with superior space performance compared to its peers. The interior offers ample headroom and legroom for both front and rear passengers, and it can comfortably accommodate up to seven passengers with a 2+3+2 seating layout, making it an ideal choice for family travel. The rear seats feature a split-folding design, which not only improves the flexibility of seating and storage space but also expands the trunk capacity to meet the needs of long-distance travel and cargo transportation.
Interior Design
The Changan CS95 is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch floating central touchscreen, forming a dual-screen system that delivers a sleek and advanced visual experience, and it is integrated with the iFlytek Feiyu 3.0 intelligent vehicle system for seamless connectivity and intuitive operation. Interior color schemes include all-black and black-brown combinations, blending luxury and practicality with high-quality materials such as Nappa leather-textured seats and soft-wrapped中控台, complemented by piano paint trim and adjustable LED ambient lighting to create a refined and comfortable cabin atmosphere.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch wheels, front and rear airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, and a panoramic sunroof, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and active braking, as well as practical features such as a 360-degree panoramic camera system, 540° transparent chassis, and a power tailgate with kick sensor, further enhancing driving safety and convenience.
Powertrain
The Changan CS95 is equipped with a front-mounted Blue Core 2.0T turbocharged direct-injection engine, delivering a maximum power output of 171 kW (233 horsepower) and a peak torque of 390 Nm, which has won the “China Heart” Top Ten Engines award for its excellent performance. It is paired with an imported Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, ensuring smooth shifting and responsive control, with an official top speed of 190 km/h. The vehicle is available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions, with the four-wheel drive version adopting BorgWarner NexTrac intelligent four-wheel drive technology, which can easily handle complex road conditions such as snow, mud, and sand.
In terms of fuel economy, the two-wheel drive version has a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 9.46 L/100km, while the four-wheel drive version has a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 10.32 L/100km, achieving a good balance between power and fuel efficiency. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with an active intake intelligent grille, which reduces the wind resistance coefficient and optimizes fuel consumption while protecting the engine.
