Exterior Design

The Changan Oshan Z6 adopts the brand’s unique “Edge·Environment Design Aesthetics”, featuring a sharp and dynamic front fascia with a time-space overlapping double grille decorated with hourglass-shaped metal elements, which creates a strong sense of futurism and science fiction. It is equipped with sharp Streamer Sharp Eye LED headlights composed of 104 LED light sources, which not only ensure excellent lighting effect but also provide rich dynamic light language changes, adding more technological sense to the vehicle. The rear is equipped with a mechanical hollow spoiler and sleek LED taillights with a “W” shape inside, which echo the front design and enhance the overall sporty appearance. The body is available in multiple color options to meet different personalized needs, and its angular waistline runs from the front to the rear, creating a forward-leaning posture that highlights the muscular and sporty temperament of the SUV. It is also equipped with an active grille that improves fuel economy by adjusting the air intake according to driving conditions.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,699 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,795 mm and an excellent aspect ratio of 0.878. This dimension layout provides ample interior space; both front and rear passengers can enjoy comfortable headroom and legroom, and even tall passengers can sit comfortably. The rear seats feature a split-folding design, which can be fully flattened when needed, greatly improving the flexibility of storage and meeting the needs of daily use and outdoor activities. In addition, the 20-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels further enhance the vehicle’s passability and sporty style.

Interior Design

The Changan Oshan Z6 is equipped with a three-screen layout consisting of a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch ultra-edge-cut central touchscreen, and a 9.2-inch smart Xiao Ou screen, which are arranged in a ship array to deliver a stunning visual experience and convenient information interaction. The interior is wrapped in soft materials with exquisite stitching, and is equipped with 64-color rhythmic ambient lights and chrome decorations, enhancing the overall sense of quality. The 2.0T model is upgraded with a black and red contrasting color scheme, and the seats are sporty leather ones with “Z” logo embellishments, creating a comfortable and high-end sporty driving and riding environment. Interior color schemes are designed to cater to personalized preferences, meeting the needs of different users.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 20-inch wheels, front and rear side airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 540-degree 3D ultra-high-definition panoramic camera (composed of 360-degree panoramic image and 180-degree transparent chassis), full-scene intelligent external voice control, and adaptive cruise control, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems, active braking, face recognition, and AR-HUD head-up display, further improving driving safety and convenience. In addition, it is equipped with the OnStyle 5.0 or 5.1 intelligent cockpit system, which supports three-finger screen switching, gesture control and voice recognition for four positions in the car, making human-vehicle interaction more efficient and convenient. It also has practical functions such as keyless entry, push-button start and voice-controlled tailgate.

Powertrain

The Changan Oshan Z6 offers two powertrain options to meet different user needs. The first is a 1.5T turbocharged engine matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The engine has a maximum power of 138 kW and a peak torque of 300 Nm, adopting IEM dual-exit integrated exhaust manifold and dual-vortex electronic turbocharging technology, which reduces turbo lag and improves power response. It achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.81 seconds and excellent fuel economy with a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of only 6.5 L/100km. The second is a 2.0T turbocharged engine paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, with a maximum power of 171 kW and a peak torque of 390 Nm, featuring Smart phaser intelligent cam phase adjustment system and 350bar high-pressure direct injection technology, delivering strong and smooth power performance. It has an official top speed of 231 km/h and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.67 seconds.
Both powertrain options of the Changan Oshan Z6 focus on efficiency and performance. The engines adopt advanced technologies such as high-pressure direct injection and efficient turbocharging, which not only ensure strong power output but also effectively control fuel consumption, achieving a balance between power and energy saving. The transmission systems have the advantages of fast shifting and high transmission efficiency, bringing a comfortable and sporty driving experience. In addition, the vehicle is built on the Changan MPA platform Ark architecture, with four-wheel independent suspension, which further improves driving stability and comfort.
