The Changan UNI-V iDD is Changan Automobile’s first plug-in hybrid coupe built on the New Blue Whale Powertrain Platform. Positioned as a “pioneering, aesthetically designed, intelligent electric sports coupe,” it features four key characteristics: “greater efficiency, sportier performance, enhanced safety, and advanced intelligence,” and supports both plug-in hybrid and range-extended modes.

Exterior Design

The Changan UNI‑V iDD is a compact plug‑in hybrid fastback sedan, equipped with a borderless front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through‑type LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 18‑inch wheel configurations for different versions. Conventional door handles are equipped as standard. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 5‑door 5‑seater fastback layout. The body dimensions are 4680 mm in length, 1838 mm in width and 1435 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2795 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and electric tailgate are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and central control touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi‑color ambient lighting and dual‑zone automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant‑speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one‑key start functions are standard. High‑spec versions are equipped with 360‑degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The Changan UNI‑V iDD adopts front‑wheel drive layout, matched with 6‑speed electric drive transmission. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.5T inline four‑cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with a maximum power of 81 kW, matched with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 110 kW. The system comprehensive maximum power is 250 kW with a peak torque of 590 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The CLTC pure electric cruising range covers 136 km for different versions, with a comprehensive cruising range up to 1100 km. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and front MacPherson and rear multi‑link independent suspension system.
