It is equipped with sharp and futuristic LED headlights with unique LED daytime running lights on the lower side, paired with a fully closed front fascia decorated with delicate chrome trim and a prominent central brand logo, presenting a noble, atmospheric and tech-savvy visual effect while enhancing the vehicle’s front-face recognition. The side lines are smooth and powerful, with a straight and slender waistline extending from the front fenders to the rear taillights, highlighting the vehicle’s grand and elegant posture, while hidden door handles, multi-spoke large-size rims and black wheel arch trim add a sense of layering and sportiness; the D-pillar is equipped with the Denza brand logo, and the roof is fitted with a lidar and a streaming exterior rearview mirror, highlighting its advanced intelligent configuration. The rear is equipped with stylish through-type LED taillights, matched with a high-mounted spoiler and a refined rear bumper with chrome decoration, making the overall shape concise, grand and full of hierarchy. The body is available in multiple high-end color options, and offers a drone version equipped with a customized DJI Air 3S in-vehicle drone, catering to the personalized needs of high-end family users, business elites and tech enthusiastssuperscript:1superscript:5__.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,258 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,830 mm in height, with a spacious wheelbase of 3,110 mm, belonging to the large-size six-seat SUV category. Benefiting from the Yisanfang platform and CTB battery-body integration technology, it maximizes the use of interior space—the large-curvature roof and full-view panoramic sunroof ensure sufficient headroom and interior lighting for all three rows of seats, while the reasonable body proportion design (with balanced front and rear overhangs) presents a stable and elegant style that combines luxury and practicality, perfectly meeting the needs of family long-distance travel, business reception and outdoor adventures. Interior Design
The Denza N9 features a flagship-level luxurious and intelligent interior design, adhering to the “Elegant Harmony” design concept with a wrap-around layout and layered decorative panels, creating a relaxed, refined and tech-savvy riding atmosphere that integrates home comfort and business luxury. It is equipped with a 50-inch AR-HUD, a 13.2-inch instrument screen, a 17.3-inch 2.5K central touchscreen, a 13.2-inch co-pilot expansion screen and rear entertainment screens, forming a multi-screen interconnection system, powered by a high-performance 4nm chip, delivering a clear and smooth interactive experience. Interior color schemes are mainly based on off-white, matched with deep and light two-tone collocation, and the center console and door panels are decorated with high-grade wood grain trim, paired with large-area soft wrapping, delicate knitted velvet ceiling and metal organ-style pedals, highlighting the flagship-level premium texture and comfort. The cabin is equipped with multi-level noise reduction technology, including double-layer sound-insulating glass and three-layer door seals, creating a library-level quiet environment, paired with a 20-speaker Devialet audio system and Dolby Atmos, bringing an immersive audio experience.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 20-inch wheels, 9 airbags, rear parking sensors, a 360-degree panoramic camera, and cruise control, among other practical functions, as well as the standard Yunian-A (dual-chamber air suspension) and Tian Shen Zhi Yan B system, ensuring driving safety and comfortsuperscript:5__. The higher-spec models and drone version add advanced intelligent driving assistance functions, roof-mounted lidar and the Lingyuan fast-charging version of the intelligent in-vehicle drone system developed in cooperation with DJI, which supports 100W fast charging of the drone and can control the drone’s take-off, landing and intelligent follow-up through a custom dual-purpose handle. It also features multiple efficient storage spaces, a large-capacity trunk (which can be expanded by folding the rear seats) and an 11L intelligent heating and cooling refrigerator. The seats are highly comfortable: the front seats are equipped with ventilation, heating and massage functions, the front co-pilot is available with a zero-gravity seat with 4-way electric leg rest; the second row of independent seats also has ventilation, heating and massage functions, with foldable small tables; the third row is spacious and comfortable, supporting multi-angle backrest adjustment, ensuring a comfortable riding experience for all passenger.
Powertrain
The Denza N9 is available in both plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and pure electric versions, built on the Yisanfang vehicle intelligent control technology platform, integrating four core technologies: three-motor independent drive, rear dual-motor independent steering, VMC vehicle motion control and full-series CTB battery-body integration, achieving superior performance and subversive handling. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a powerful hybrid system consisting of a 2.0T super hybrid engine and three electric motors, which can release a combined power equivalent to nearly 1,000 horsepower, surpassing 12-cylinder engines, adopting a three-motor all-wheel drive layout, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 3.9 seconds, and equipped with high-performance brakes, achieving excellent braking performance. It also performs outstandingly in the moose test with a score of 85.7km/h, showing excellent handling stability.
The vehicle is equipped with BYD’s second-generation blade battery made of lithium iron phosphate material, which has the characteristics of high safety, high performance and high durability, and supports flash charging technology with a fast and convenient charging experience. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 75kWh battery pack (new model), supporting a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 420 km; the original model has a 46.992kWh battery pack with a 165km pure electric range, and the CLTC combined range reaches an impressive 1,330 km after OTA upgrade, completely eliminating range anxiety for long trips. The fuel consumption under depleted battery conditions is as low as 6.3 L/100 km (NEDC) or 6.9 L/100 km (WLTC), achieving an excellent balance between power and fuel economy.
