The Denza N9, the flagship luxury SUV from BYD’s Denza brand, will be equipped with e3 technology. The vehicle measures 5,258/2,030/1,830 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. It features a dignified and robust overall design, and the manufacturer claims it will boast a top-tier powertrain and luxurious tech features, including a host of cutting-edge innovations. The Denza N9 is equipped with a 47-kWh battery pack, offering an all-electric range of up to 165 km.

Exterior Design

The Denza N9 is a full-size plug-in hybrid SUV, equipped with a family-style front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with through-type LED taillight groups and aerodynamic rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 22-inch wheel configurations. Partial versions are fitted with roof-mounted lidar sensors and hidden door handles. A panoramic sunroof is equipped as standard.
The vehicle adopts a 5-door 6-seater layout. The body dimensions are 5258 mm in length, 2030 mm in width and 1830 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors and electric tailgate are standard configurations.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and a 17.3-inch central touchscreen. Partial versions are fitted with ceiling-mounted rear entertainment screens. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with NAPPA leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and four-zone automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports wireless phone charging, vehicle-mounted refrigerator and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The Denza N9 is equipped with a 2.0T inline four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine and three permanent magnet synchronous electric motors, matched with EHS electric hybrid system. The engine delivers a maximum power of 152 kW. The system comprehensive maximum power is 510 kW with a peak torque of 1035 Nm. The vehicle adopts four-wheel drive layout, with an electronically limited top speed of 180 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with second-generation blade lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The CLTC pure electric cruising range covers 202 km and 230 km for different versions, with a CLTC comprehensive cruising range up to 1330 km. The vehicle supports ultra-fast DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and intelligent air suspension system.
