The GAC Trumpchi GS4 Plus adopts the brand’s latest family-style design language, integrating bold sportiness with practical SUV features to present a robust and dynamic posture, which perfectly balances daily practicality and visual appeal. It features a distinctive three-section front bumper with strong recognition, paired with a large-size integrated grille that is decorated with exquisite chrome trim, highlighting its refined and tough temperament. On both sides, the sharp LED headlights are seamlessly connected with the grille, integrating dynamic daytime running lights and high-efficiency far and near beams, which are not only bright and practical but also enhance the overall sense of technology. The front air intake on both sides of the bumper not only enriches the visual layering but also effectively improves the heat dissipation efficiency of the engine. The side profile has smooth and powerful lines, running from the front fender to the rear, paired with stylish multi-spoke alloy wheels, which add a touch of sportiness to the whole vehicle. The door handles adopt a conventional design with a sleek shape, and the wheel arches are slightly raised, showing the tough posture of an SUV. The rear is equipped with a stylish LED taillight group, whose shape echoes the front headlights, and the through-type black trim panel connects the two taillights, stretching the horizontal visual width of the rear. A small rear spoiler is also fitted, which not only enhances the sporty appeal but also optimizes aerodynamic performance. The body is available in multiple practical and stylish color options, catering to the diverse personalized needs of family users and young consumers.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,710 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width, and 1,726 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,710 mm, positioning it as a 5-door 5-seat compact SUV. The reasonable body proportion and long wheelbase not only create a solid visual aura but also ensure ample interior space. The 5-seat layout focuses on both driving experience and riding comfort, with the rear floor adopting a flat design to provide more comfortable legroom for three passengers. The rear seats feature a split-folding design, which can be folded in proportion to expand the trunk space, and the maximum expandable space can easily accommodate multiple pieces of luggage or large items, meeting the needs of daily commuting, family travel and cargo storage.
Interior Design
The GAC Trumpchi GS4 Plus features a simple and elegant cockpit layout that integrates technological intelligence and comfortable experience, creating a warm and practical driving environment. The interior is extensively covered with high-quality soft materials, with the center console and door panels wrapped in soft plastic and decorative panels, which not only have a good touch but also enhance the sense of refinement. The cockpit adopts a user-friendly design, with the central control area tilted slightly towards the driver, facilitating the driver’s operation. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch floating central touchscreen, which form a dual-screen interaction system, clearly displaying vehicle status, driving data and multimedia information. Paired with the new generation ADiGO 4.0 intelligent cockpit system, it supports voice control, car networking and OTA online upgrade functions, delivering a smooth and responsive operating experience. The steering wheel adopts an ergonomic leather-wrapped design, with a comfortable grip and integrated control buttons, which is convenient for the driver to adjust various functions during driving.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with multi-spoke alloy wheels, six airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, keyless start, LED headlights, manual air conditioning, a multi-function steering wheel, and a basic audio system, among other practical functions. The seats are wrapped in high-quality fabric or leather, with ergonomic design that fits the human body curve, providing good support and comfort. Higher-spec models add 360-degree panoramic imaging, automatic air conditioning, leather seats, electric seat adjustment, gesture control, face recognition, and ADAS driving assistance systems, further enhancing the sense of technology and driving safety. In addition, it is equipped with multiple storage spaces inside the car, which are attentive in details and improve the practicality of the vehicle.
Powertrain
Based on GAC’s self-developed GPMA global modular platform and钜浪 Power platform, the GAC Trumpchi GS4 Plus offers two gasoline engine configurations to meet different user needs. The 1.5T turbocharged engine (270T) has a maximum power of 124 kW (169 horsepower) and a peak torque of 265 Nm, paired with a smooth and reliable 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering stable power output and fuel-efficient performance. The high-performance 2.0T turbocharged engine (390T) is a flagship-level power unit, with a maximum power of 185 kW (252 horsepower) and a peak torque of 390 Nm, paired with an Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission that has been fully verified in multiple models, ensuring smooth gear shifting and sensitive response. The official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of the 2.0T model is 7.5 seconds, with an official top speed of 200 km/h, delivering strong dynamic performance. The NEDC comprehensive fuel consumption of the 2.0T model is 7.7 L/100km, balancing power and fuel economy. In terms of chassis, it adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension, which have been re-matched and optimized for springs, shock absorbers and stabilizer bars, ensuring both daily riding comfort and driving stability, and providing strong support during emergency braking and high-speed cornering.
