Exterior Design
The HiPhi Y, a luxury pure electric mid-size SUV under Human Horizons, inherits the brand’s TECHLUXE® technological luxury DNA, adopting a distinctive digital mecha design language that combines futurism with practicality, featuring a streamlined front fascia with an active AGS air intake grille that automatically opens and closes with vehicle speed to optimize aerodynamic efficiency and enhance heat dissipation. It is paired with intelligent interactive headlights composed of 828 LED light sources, supporting custom dynamic light expressions and presenting different ceremonial light effects in scenarios such as getting on the car and charging, along with a through-type light strip that enhances its technological and dynamic temperament. The rear is equipped with a “Y”-shaped through-type taillight, paired with a hollow rear spoiler that can automatically flush rainwater and dust on the rear windshield without a rear wiper, and the “HiPhi” logo is subtly embedded, perfectly integrating technological functions with aesthetic design. A laser radar is mounted on the front of the roof (optional for non-high-end models), and 24 obstacle avoidance sensors are arranged around the body to ensure intelligent driving assistance without damaging the overall mecha-style lines.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,938 mm in length, 1,958 mm in width, and 1,658 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, positioning it as a mid-size luxury pure electric SUV and ensuring ample interior space for a comfortable riding experience. The body is available in six color options, including Breeze Purple, Star Silver, Sun Red, Wilderness Green, Jade Lime and Crystal White, with liquid metal texture or flowing pearlescent paint. The side profile features a sleek waistline extending from the front to the rear, equipped with the second-generation NT intelligent falcon wing doors—all six doors are electric induction frameless doors, with 25 sensing units that can intelligently avoid obstacles and automatically cancel the roof opening in rainy or snowy weather for safety. The vehicle is paired with 20-inch or 21-inch optional wheels, with high-performance tires, achieving an excellent drag coefficient of 0.24cd, balancing aesthetics and aerodynamic efficiency.
Interior Design
The HiPhi Y features a luxurious and technologically advanced interior design, centered on an integrated multi-screen interactive system including a 17-inch OLED central touchscreen, a 15-inch high-definition passenger entertainment screen, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster, a 22.9-inch high-definition color head-up display and a 9.2-inch streaming rearview mirror. The 17-inch OLED central screen is supported by a stepless positioning robotic arm, which can be adjusted by 25° in pitch to prevent reflection and glare, and supports screen control, voice control and gesture control. It is equipped with the HiPhi OS intelligent cockpit, supporting seamless connection of multiple devices, continuous voice control and intelligent interaction, enhancing convenience and technological experience for daily use. The interior is wrapped in high-quality Nappa full-grain leather seats and cashmere-like ultra-fine suede ceiling, with exquisite craftsmanship, and three interior themes including Moon Rock Gray, Smoke Cloud Purple and Deep Space Black are available to meet different personalized preferences of users.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with three floating magnetic suction modules on the instrument panel (for storing small items such as sunglasses and headphones), an 85L large-capacity front trunk, a 692L large-capacity trunk (expandable to 1,848L when the rear seats are folded), multiple safety airbags, a 540-degree panoramic image, and a Meridian audio system. It also has a 6.4L intelligent cooling and heating refrigerator with multiple adjustable temperature control ranges, and rear dual folding tableboards with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 10 kilograms. The vehicle adopts a 5-seat layout, with front and rear seats featuring heating functions, and the rear seats with adjustable backrest angles to ensure a comfortable riding experience. The higher-spec version adds advanced driver-assistance systems, seat ventilation and massage functions, a HiPhi Port expansion dock, and a 23-speaker high-end audio system, further improving the riding experience and technological sense.
Powertrain
The HiPhi Y is a fully electric vehicle available in rear-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations, both paired with an electric single-speed transmission. The rear-wheel drive version is equipped with a single rear permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 247 kW, delivering an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. The all-wheel drive version is equipped with a front motor (124 kW) and a rear motor (247 kW), with a combined system power of 371 kW, and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.7 seconds, delivering strong and smooth driving performance.
The vehicle is available with two sizes of battery packs: 76.6 kWh and 115 kWh, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 560 km, 765 km and 810 km depending on the configuration. The 115 kWh battery pack ensures long-range travel needs, while the 76.6 kWh battery pack meets daily commuting demands. It supports fast charging, taking approximately 38 minutes to charge from 0% to 80% for the 76.6 kWh battery pack and 50 minutes for the 115 kWh battery pack. In addition, it is equipped with a CIC chassis integrated control system, CDC continuous variable damping shock absorbers, and an aluminum front double wishbone + rear five-link suspension combination, along with a full-speed active rear-wheel steering system, ensuring excellent driving stability and maneuverability.
