The Honda XR-V adheres to Honda’s “AMP UP YOUR LIFE” development concept, featuring a compact and dynamic small SUV silhouette that perfectly balances urban mobility and youthful aesthetics, with a strong sense of power and fluidity. Its front fascia is highlighted by a bold hexagonal grille with a dot-matrix chrome decoration, seamlessly integrated with sharp full-LED headlights and integrated LED daytime running lights, complemented by a through-type front air intake with chrome trim, creating a fashionable and sophisticated visual impact. The rear is equipped with a sporty roof spoiler and sleek through-type LED taillights with a hidden LOGO design, paired with a streamlined rear bumper and chrome accents, which not only enhances aerodynamic performance but also elevates the vehicle’s overall sense of modernity. The body is available in a variety of fashionable color options, including Crystal Black Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Fiery Orange, Denim Blue, and Bordeaux Red, catering to the personalized aesthetic preferences of young urban users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,380 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, and 1,590 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. Compared with the previous generation, the body length is increased by 52 mm and the width by 18 mm, while the height is reduced by 20 mm, creating a more low-lying and dynamic posture. This compact yet spacious body layout, adhering to Honda’s MM space concept, ensures sufficient headroom and legroom for both front and rear passengers, and the rear passenger space is further expanded, delivering a comfortable riding experience suitable for daily urban commuting and short-distance family travel. The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seat layout, with the rear seats featuring a 60/40 split-folding design that enhances storage flexibility, allowing the vehicle to easily accommodate large items while meeting diverse usage needs.
Interior Design
The Honda XR-V boasts a practical and stylish interior that combines high-quality materials with humanized design, featuring soft-touch materials on the dashboard and door panels, along with matte black trim and delicate stitching details, highlighting its youthful and dynamic attributes. It is equipped with a combination instrument of a center-mounted barrel-type speedometer and a 5-inch color LCD display, paired with a 9-inch high-definition floating central touchscreen, integrated with the Honda CONNECT 3.0 intelligent interconnection system, supporting CarLife connection, vehicle-home interconnection, remote control and OTA upgrades, providing a clear visual experience and seamless human-computer interaction. Interior color schemes include All Black, Black&Orange Two-tone, Black&Yellow Two-tone, and Bordeaux Red, catering to personalized preferences and enhancing the youthful atmosphere of the cockpit.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear airbags, side curtain airbags, rear parking sensors, a high-definition rearview camera, and manual air conditioning, among other practical and safety functions. The higher-spec models add more premium configurations, including 18-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, a 360-degree panoramic camera, Honda SENSING safety super-sensing system with expanded detection range, a panoramic sunroof with high heat insulation, wireless phone charging, electrostatic touch reading lights, and diffused air outlets, further enhancing comfort and safety for driving.
Powertrain
The Honda XR-V is equipped with a 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder naturally aspirated Earth Dreams engine, which has been re-tuned to deliver a maximum power output of 91 kW (124 hp) and peak torque of 145 Nm, paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), delivering a smooth and linear driving experience suitable for daily urban commuting. The engine features excellent fuel efficiency, with a WLTC combined fuel consumption as low as 6.3 L/100 km, and it can use 92-octane gasoline, reducing daily use costs.
The vehicle features a front-engine front-wheel-drive layout, with a fuel tank capacity of 40 liters, offering an excellent balance of performance and fuel efficiency. It is also equipped with an AHA agile assist control system and an optimized suspension system, which enhances steering responsiveness and vehicle stability, while the increased body rigidity further improves riding comfort. The Idle Stop engine energy-saving automatic start-stop system is also equipped to further optimize fuel economy and meet national VI emission standards, making it suitable for both daily urban commuting and short-distance family travel.
