The Hongqi Tiangong 06 is a pure-electric midsize SUV launched by FAW Hongqi in 2025. The model is available in both 400V and 900V versions, with the 900V high-voltage platform capable of providing a range of 500 kilometers after just 10 minutes of charging and charging from 10% to 80% in 12 minutes.

Exterior Design

The Hongqi Tiangong 06 is a mid-size pure electric SUV, equipped with a closed front grille and full LED headlight groups. The vehicle is fitted with LED taillight groups and rear bumper trim. Multiple body color options are available. The vehicle adopts 19-inch and 20-inch wheel configurations for different versions. Conventional door handles are equipped as standard. A panoramic sunroof is equipped for partial versions.
The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seater SUV layout. The body dimensions are 4750 mm in length, 1900 mm in width and 1640 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. Electrically adjustable exterior mirrors with heating and automatic folding functions are equipped for different versions. An electric charging port cover is equipped as standard.

Interior Design

The vehicle is equipped with a full LCD digital instrument cluster and central control touchscreen. Multiple interior color schemes are available, matched with leather upholstery and metallic decorative trim. The vehicle supports multi-color ambient lighting and automatic constant temperature air conditioning. An electronic gear shift lever is equipped as standard.
Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera and constant-speed cruise control. Keyless entry and one-key start functions are standard. High-spec versions are equipped with 360-degree panoramic camera system, head-up display system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and active braking system. The vehicle supports vehicle network connection, wireless phone charging, V2L external discharge and OTA upgrade functions.

Powertrain

The Hongqi Tiangong 06 adopts rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive layouts, matched with single-speed fixed gear electric drive assembly. The single motor version is equipped with rear permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 210 kW and a peak torque of 317 Nm. The dual motor four-wheel drive version is equipped with front and rear dual permanent magnet synchronous motors, with a comprehensive maximum power of 412 kW and a comprehensive peak torque of 720 Nm.
The vehicle is equipped with 62kWh, 75kWh and 85kWh lithium iron phosphate battery packs for different versions. The CLTC pure electric cruising range covers 520 km, 610 km, 660 km and 700 km for different versions. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging functions. The vehicle is equipped with energy recovery system and battery constant temperature management system. The vehicle adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension system.
