The Kia Carnival was officially launched on July 8, 2004, at the Huabin Manor, Beijing’s premier luxury club. The Carnival is an enhanced version of its Korean counterpart, the Kia Carnival. Exterior Design

The Kia Carnival is a large MPV equipped with LED headlight assemblies and LED taillight groups. The vehicle is fitted with 18-inch and 19-inch wheel rims for different versions. Partial versions are equipped with roof rails and blackened exterior kits. The available exterior body colors include White, Black, Silver, Blue and Gray.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5155 mm in length, 1995 mm in width, and 1795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3090 mm. It adopts a 5-door 7-seat and 5-door 8-seat layout for different versions. The rear seats support sliding and folding adjustment to expand rear cargo space.

Interior Design

The Kia Carnival is fitted with a full LCD instrument panel and integrated dual central control touch screens. The interior is equipped with leather seats and a multi-function steering wheel. Higher-spec versions support front and middle seat electric adjustment, heating and ventilation functions, as well as wireless phone charging function and double panoramic sunroofs.
In terms of configurations, the standard model comes with front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, cruise control, front airbags, side airbags and automatic constant temperature air conditioning. Higher-spec models are equipped with 360-degree panoramic imaging system and active braking system.

Powertrain

The Kia Carnival is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power of 171 kW and a peak torque of 353 Nm. All versions adopt a front-wheel drive layout.
The vehicle adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension. It supports four driving modes including comfort, economy, sport and intelligent modes. The vehicle has a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 8.75 L per 100 kilometers.
