The Luxeed R7, as a luxury coupe SUV under Huawei’s smart mobility ecosystem, adopts a brand-new design language that combines the elegance of a coupe with the boldness of an SUV, featuring a low-lying and sleek front fascia with a star-orbit light strip and dotted planetary light bands, seamlessly connected to sharp LED headlights, which enhances its technological sense and dynamic temperament. The rear is equipped with a sharp and three-dimensional through-type taillight design that echoes the front light strip, with a raised sporty rear spoiler to optimize aerodynamic performance, and a roof-integrated 192-line laser radar that perfectly integrates technological functions with aesthetic design without damaging the overall body lines.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,982 mm in length, 1,981 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height (1,634 mm for the Ultra version), with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm, positioning it as a mid-size luxury coupe SUV and ensuring ample interior space for a comfortable riding experience. The body is available in multiple color options, including Dark Night Purple, Vitality Orange, Aurora Green, Phantom Purple, Clear Sky Blue, Warm Nebula, Deep Space Gray, Gilded Black and Ceramic White, and an optional Obsidian Package that includes blackened trim strips for a more personalized and sporty look. The side of the body features a sleek sloping roof design, hidden electric door handles and a smooth waistline extending from the front to the rear, with a drag coefficient of 0.217 for the pure electric version and 0.247 for the extended-range version, balancing dynamics and energy efficiency.
Interior Design
The Luxeed R7 features a luxurious and technologically advanced interior design with a yacht cockpit layout, equipped with a multi-screen interactive matrix including a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 16.1-inch 3K floating central touchscreen with a 90.5% screen ratio, forming a seamless visual and interactive experience. It is equipped with the HarmonyOS 4.0 intelligent cockpit, supporting functions such as microphone-free KTV, window-intercom, external voice control, and Xiao Yi intelligent agent, as well as scene-based interactions including oral practice, food recommendation and podcast interaction. The interior is wrapped in high-quality materials with exquisite craftsmanship, and multiple interior color schemes including Red Tea Orange, Night Purple, White Sand Apricot, Amber Brown, Peacock Feather Red and Truffle Brown are available to meet personalized needs.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with ALPS health cockpit, MOFs antibacterial filter, 24-hour intelligent fresh air system, multi-functional leather seats, multiple safety airbags, a 540-degree panoramic image with transparent chassis, keyless entry, an 8.2-liter two-way opening cooling and heating box, and 2×50W wireless fast charging and 3×66W wired fast charging, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds 896-line dual-optical path image-level laser radar, advanced driver-assistance systems based on Huawei Kunlun Intelligent Driving ADS 4, a 21-speaker HUAWEI SOUND audio system with 7.1.4 surround sound layout, and a 2.1-square-meter starry sky sunroof with 100% shading electric sunshade. It offers a 5-door 5-seat layout, with front dual zero-gravity seats featuring 18-way electric adjustment, 10-point massage, ventilation and heating functions, and 342mm extended leg rests; the rear seats support 27°-37° stepless electric angle adjustment and also have ventilation, heating and massage functions.
Powertrain
The Luxeed R7 offers two power options: extended-range and pure electric. The extended-range version is equipped with a 1.5T range extender, paired with electric motors, with a maximum power of 227 kW for the rear motor in the two-wheel drive version and a combined system power of 382 kW for the four-wheel drive version (155 kW for the front motor and 227 kW for the rear motor), paired with an electric transmission, and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.9 seconds for the four-wheel drive version. It is available with 37 kWh and 53.4 kWh battery packs, offering a CLTC comprehensive cruising range of up to 1,673 km and a pure electric cruising range of up to 360 km.
The pure electric version is based on Huawei’s Whale 800V high-voltage battery platform, equipped with electric motors, with a maximum power of 215 kW for the rear motor in the two-wheel drive version and a combined system power of 365 kW for the four-wheel drive version (150 kW for the front motor and 215 kW for the rear motor), with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds for the four-wheel drive version. It comes with 82 kWh and 100 kWh high-capacity battery packs, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of up to 802 km for the long-range version. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 15 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% for both versions, ensuring efficient energy supplement. It also supports V2L external power output with a maximum power of 6 kW for outdoor camping needs.
