Exterior Design
The MG6 adopts a dynamic “Dynamic Sexy Power” design language that integrates British sports heritage with youthful vitality, featuring a sharp front fascia with a blackened digital burning grille inspired by flaming fire, unique digital light track LED headlights with blackened lamp chambers, and stylish through-type LED taillights with a striking lighting effect. The rear is equipped with a large-sized floating rear wing, which not only enhances aerodynamic stability by providing 116kg of downforce at high speeds but also strengthens its sporty charm significantly. The vehicle comes standard with sporty exterior kits, and the Trophy version is equipped with 18-inch smoked ice blade multi-spoke wheels paired with red sporty calipers. The body is available in multiple color options, including Track Green, Pearl White, Carbon Gray, Flame Red, and Onyx Black.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,738 mm in length, 1,848 mm in width, and 1,456 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm. Its sleek fastback roof line and wide-body stance create a dynamic and low-profile appearance, perfectly balancing sportiness and practicality. The vehicle adopts a hatchback design with a large-opening tailgate, and the rear seats feature a split-folding design, which not only increases flexibility for storage and seating but also expands the trunk space from 499L to 1383L, easily accommodating daily luggage and travel items.
Interior Design
The MG6 is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch semi-floating central touchscreen, delivering a stylish visual experience and smooth operation supported by the Zebra Intelligent Travel 3.0 system. Interior color schemes include Dynamic Red and Fiery Yellow, paired with large-area soft materials and chrome accents on the center console and door panels, catering to personalized preferences and enhancing the sporty and refined texture.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with leather-wrapped multi-function flat-bottom steering wheel,仿leather sport seats, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, keyless entry and start, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera, among other practical functions. The higher-spec Trophy version adds a 360-degree panoramic camera, BOSE sound system with 9 high-performance speakers, front seat heating, and one-key start button integrated in the steering wheel, as well as practical features such as electric adjustable main driver’s seat and steering wheel shift paddles.
Powertrain
The MG6 is equipped with a front-mounted 1.5T PRO turbocharged engine from SAIC Blue Core 2.0 MEGA Tech power combination, supported by 350bar ultra-high pressure direct injection and ePower Control electronic turbocharging technology, delivering a maximum power output of 133 kW (181 horsepower) and peak torque of 285 Nm. It is paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, with the turbocharger intervening at 1500 rpm for obvious power improvement and an official top speed of 210 km/h.
The vehicle achieves a WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of 6.63 L/100km, supporting 92-octane fuel. It perfectly balances performance and fuel economy, with smooth power output and excellent fuel efficiency, suitable for both daily commuting and occasional sporty driving.
