Exterior Design
The Ora Lightning Cat adopts a sleek and dynamic super-streamline design language that is distinctive among Ora models, featuring a full and smooth body shape inspired by natural curves, with integrated elliptical headlights, sharp and dynamic daytime running lights, and stylish through-type taillights. The rear is equipped with an adaptive electric rear wing, which can be actively opened or intelligently activated according to driving conditions, not only optimizing aerodynamic performance but also enhancing its sporty and high-end temperament. The body is available in three color options: Tourmaline Gray, Smoke Amethyst, and White Jade, all of which are elegant and advanced tones that highlight its pure electric coupe style.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,871 mm in length, 1,862 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,870 mm. The interior space is spacious and comfortable, with ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, meeting the travel needs of both individuals and families. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which improves the flexibility of seating and storage, making it convenient for carrying large items or creating extra space for daily use. It also comes with frameless doors and hidden door handles, further enhancing its sleek and fashionable appearance.
Interior Design
The Ora Lightning Cat is equipped with a three-cylinder sports instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch floating central touchscreen, which perfectly integrates sporty style with modern technology and delivers an excellent visual experience. Interior color schemes include elegant and luxurious combinations that cater to the personalized preferences of different users, especially female drivers. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, front side airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and cruise control, among other practical functions. The higher-spec premium version adds Level 2+ driver-assistance systems, active braking, 360-degree camera system, and practical features such as V2L external power output and heated/ventilated front seats with massage function.
Powertrain
The Ora Lightning Cat offers two power options: a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor and a dual-motor intelligent all-wheel drive system. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power output of 150 kW and peak torque of 340 Nm, while the dual-motor all-wheel drive version has a combined maximum power of 300 kW and peak torque of 680 Nm. Both versions are paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 180 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.3 seconds for the dual-motor version. It offers multiple battery options, providing CLTC-rated ranges of 555 km, 600 km, and 705 km respectively. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%.
