The Roewe M7 DMH is the first production vehicle in SAIC Roewe’s “Pearl” design series, unveiled on June 16, 2025. Led by designer Joseph Kaban, it is positioned as a mid-to-large-size hybrid sedan. The vehicle officially went on sale on September 17, 2025. It measures 4,940 × 1,890 × 1,510 mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. It is equipped with the DMH hybrid system, featuring a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a drive motor, and offers a CLTC-rated all-electric range of 160 km.

Exterior Design

The Roewe M7 DMH adopts the brand’s unique “Eastern Rhythm and Western Rhyme” design language, which is the first mass-produced work by Joseph Kaban, the global vice president of SAIC Design Center. It features a neat and elegant front fascia with a iconic vertical waterfall grille, paired with vector light track crystal daytime running lights using thick-wall injection molding technology and 3D suspended through-type taillights, creating a distinctive and premium visual effect. The front is equipped with a “ROEWE” breathing light logo, and the vehicle is also equipped with a unique honor welcome light carpet, enhancing a sense of ceremony. The rear is designed with a sleek and integrated shape, which not only optimizes aerodynamic performance but also highlights a stable and generous temperament. The body is available in multiple color options to meet different personalized needs.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,940 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,510 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. The interior space is spacious and comfortable, with a flat floor design in the rear row, providing ample legroom and knee room for passengers. The rear seats feature a folding design, which not only improves the flexibility of seating and storage but also can form a flat space after folding, easily accommodating large items such as camping equipment and strollers.

Interior Design

The Roewe M7 DMH features an interior design centered on “simplicity and technology”, with a wrap-around center console adopting the “landscape curved surface” design concept, creating a spacious visual experience. It is equipped with a 15.4-inch floating central touchscreen with a narrow bezel design and a 2.5K resolution, paired with a digital instrument cluster, delivering an outstanding visual and interactive experience. The interior is decorated with flowing cloud patterns and 256-color soft ambient lights, which can dynamically change with music rhythm and driving modes, creating a theater-level light and shadow experience at night.
Interior color schemes are designed to cater to personalized preferences, with high-quality materials used throughout the cabin for a comfortable touch. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 17-inch wheels, front side airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and cruise control, among other practical functions. The higher-spec versions add practical configurations such as a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade, heated front and rear seats, ventilated main driver’s seat, 50W wireless phone charging, as well as advanced functions including Level 2 driver-assistance systems and a 360-degree camera system.

Powertrain

The Roewe M7 DMH is equipped with the self-developed DMH 6.0 super hybrid system, consisting of a 1.5L efficient hybrid-specific engine and an electric motor. The 1.5L engine has a maximum power of 82 kW and a peak torque of 135 Nm, while the electric motor delivers a maximum power of 137 kW and a peak torque of 330 Nm. It is paired with a hybrid-specific DHT transmission and adopts a front-wheel drive mode, with an official top speed of 185 km/h and an acceleration time of 7.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
The vehicle comes standard with a 19.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 160 km and a comprehensive CLTC range of up to 2050 km when fully fueled and charged. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 20 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and it also supports a 3.3 kW AC charging port, meeting daily commuting and long-distance travel needs. The intelligent working condition switching system can automatically adjust the driving mode according to the driving scenario, achieving both energy saving and smooth driving experience.
