Exterior Design
The Tank 300 inherits Tank’s iconic tough off-road design language and adheres to the “simple and practical” design concept, featuring a classic and sturdy square “boxy” body shape with straight lines and flat surfaces, exuding a strong sense of mechanical power and pure hard-core off-road temperament. It is equipped with a large-area black grille with three thick horizontal silver trim strips running through the front, paired with a three-dimensional “TANK” logo in the center, which is highly recognizable. The retro round LED headlights with built-in circular daytime running light rings, combined with the turn signal groups extending to the side of the front face, form a unique and freehand shape, providing precise and bright lighting at night. The front bumper is made of high-strength engineering plastic integrated with a black protective plate, effectively increasing the approach angle and enhancing passability on complex terrain. Paired with protruding wide-body wheel arches, black roof racks, side steps, and 17-inch or 18-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels matched with all-terrain tires, it further highlights its tough off-road genes. The rear is equipped with a simple floating spoiler that optimizes aerodynamic performance, paired with an externally mounted full-size spare tire, vertical three-dimensional LED taillights with high visibility, and a rear bumper integrated with a protective plate, which echoes the front design and strengthens its hard-core off-road identity. The body is available in multiple high-grade color options including Obsidian Black, Rock Gray, Snow White, and Dune Beige, all of which highlight its trendy off-road SUV style suitable for multiple scenarios.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4760 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1903 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2750 mm, providing a solid foundation for practical interior space. The interior space is comfortable and practical, with sufficient legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, perfectly meeting the travel needs of off-road enthusiasts and small families. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can be fully flattened to expand the cargo space, making it convenient for carrying off-road equipment or large items. It is also equipped with side-view cameras integrated in the fender trims, and its high minimum ground clearance adapts to various complex off-road road conditions, while the frame with high-strength steel accounts for 99%, ensuring excellent anti-torsion performance and driving stability.
Interior Design
The Tank 300 is equipped with a 12.3-inch full-color digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch floating central touchscreen, forming a dual-screen intelligent interactive space that perfectly integrates tough texture with modern technology and delivers an excellent visual and interactive experience. It is paired with the CoffeeOS 3.0 intelligent cockpit platform and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, supporting continuous voice commands, OTA remote upgrades and multi-screen linkage functions, with fast response and clear logic. The interior adopts an electronic column shifter (wand shifter) design, which releases the central channel space and makes the operation more concise and convenient. Interior color schemes include tough and practical combinations, with high-quality leather wrapping the seats and door panels, supplemented by metal trim and carbon fiber-style decorative panels, neutralizing the cold sense of technology and creating a comfortable and durable in-car atmosphere that caters to the personalized preferences of off-road enthusiasts. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 540° panoramic camera system with transparent chassis, cruise control, and USB/Type-C charging ports, among other practical functions. The higher-spec premium version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems, MTS all-terrain control system with 10 modes, and practical features such as heated/ventilated front seats and multi-function steering wheel with a sturdy flat-bottom design.
Powertrain
The Tank 300 offers two power options: a 2.0T gasoline turbocharged engine and a 2.4T diesel turbocharged engine, retaining a mechanical drive shaft and adopting a standard front-wheel drive layout to ensure stable and reliable off-road performance, meeting the dual needs of daily commuting and off-road adventures. The 2.0T gasoline engine provides two power tuning versions: the low-power version delivers a maximum net power of 167 kW and a peak torque of 387 N·m, while the high-power version delivers a maximum net power of 185 kW and a peak torque of 387 N·m. The 2.4T diesel engine has a compression ratio of 16:1, a maximum thermal efficiency of 42.3%, a maximum net power of 135 kW, and a peak torque of 480 N·m that can be erupted at 1500 rpm. The gasoline version is matched with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel version is paired with a self-developed longitudinal 9AT automatic transmission with a maximum torque capacity of 750 N·m, featuring high transmission efficiency and smooth shifting. The official top speed of the vehicle is 175 km/h, and it achieves a balanced fuel consumption in daily use, with the WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption of the diesel version being 8.5L per 100 km, ensuring convenient daily use and long-distance off-road travel needs.
