Exterior Design
The Tank 700 Hi4-T inherits Tank’s iconic tough off-road design language and integrates the Oriental aesthetic design concept centered on the mythical beast “Qilin”, featuring a robust and majestic square body shape with a nearly 1:1 height-width ratio, creating a strong visual impact and a sense of dignity. It is equipped with a polygonal front grille decorated with dot-matrix glossy black elements, paired with a three-dimensional “TANK” logo in the center, which is highly recognizable. The most iconic feature is the mechanically rotating and opening laser headlights officially named “Ruilin Eyes”, which integrate 260 LED lamp beads and can be lit gradually with the rotation of mechanical blades, and the high-beam group adopts a variable laser light source with a maximum irradiation distance of 260 meters, combining design sense and practicality. The front bumper is made of carbon fiber material with a sporty style, integrated with a black protective plate to enhance off-road passability, while the engine hood with ventilation openings and a carbon fiber cover adds more detailed highlights. Paired with wide-body wheel arches, roof laser radar, side steps, and 22-inch multi-spoke hollow aluminum alloy wheels matched with all-terrain tires, it highlights its luxurious and tough off-road temperament. The rear is equipped with a floating spoiler officially named “Xianglin Flame Tail”, paired with a side-opening tailgate and an externally mounted full-size spare tire, and horizontal taillights that are simple and atmospheric, further enhancing its hard-core off-road identity. The body is available in three color options: Dunhuang Green, Xuangwu Black, and Yuanshan Gray, all of which are natural and high-grade tones that highlight its world-class luxury off-road SUV style.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5105 mm in length, 2061 mm in width, and 1985 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm, providing a solid foundation for spacious interior space. The interior space is luxurious and comfortable, with ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers, perfectly meeting the travel needs of high-end off-road enthusiasts and families. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which can be fully flattened to expand the cargo space, making it convenient for carrying off-road equipment or large items. It is also equipped with carbon fiber front spoilers and rear bumpers, further enhancing its sporty and tough off-road appearance, with excellent ground clearance to adapt to various complex off-road road conditions.
Interior Design
The Tank 700 Hi4-T is equipped with a 12.3-inch full-color digital instrument cluster, a 16.2-inch floating central touchscreen, a HUD head-up display, a rear armrest central LCD screen, and a circular color display in the center of physical buttons, forming a five-screen intelligent interactive space that perfectly integrates luxurious texture with modern technology and delivers an excellent visual and interactive experience. It is paired with the CoffeeOS intelligent cockpit platform and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, supporting continuous voice commands and multi-scenario mode switching, with fast response and clear logic. Interior color schemes include luxurious and bold combinations, with a large area of high-quality Nappa leather wrapping the seats and door panels, supplemented by metal trim panels and suede starry sky roof, neutralizing the cold sense of technology and creating a comfortable, high-end and personalized in-car atmosphere that caters to the personalized preferences of high-end users. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 22-inch aluminum alloy wheels, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360° panoramic camera system with transparent chassis, cruise control, dual 50W wireless charging, Harman Kardon 16-speaker audio system, and electric suction doors, among other practical and luxurious functions. The higher-spec premium version adds advanced driver-assistance systems, electronic disconnectable stabilizer bars, air springs and CDC electromagnetic shock absorbers, as well as practical features such as external power output and heated/ventilated front and rear seats with massage function.
Powertrain
The Tank 700 Hi4-T is equipped with a Hi4-T plug-in hybrid system that combines a 3.0T V6 turbocharged engine with a P2 electric motor, retaining a mechanical drive shaft to ensure stable and reliable off-road performance, meeting the dual needs of daily commuting and extreme off-road adventures. The 3.0T V6 engine delivers a powerful performance, while the P2 electric motor complements it to achieve seamless coordination between oil and electricity, with an instantaneous charging power of up to 100 kW. The comprehensive maximum power reaches 385 kW, and the comprehensive peak torque is 800 N·m (850 N·m for the limited edition), which is comparable to that of V8 engines and even surpasses many million-level luxury off-road vehicles. It is paired with a self-developed 9HAT hybrid-specific automatic transmission, with an official top speed of 180 km/h and an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack, providing an excellent pure electric range and comprehensive range, which can achieve zero fuel consumption for urban travel and meet the needs of long-distance off-road travel. In fast-charging mode, it can quickly charge from 30% to 80%, ensuring convenient daily use and long-distance off-road travel needs.
