Exterior Design
The Xpeng G3 adopts a sporty and futuristic “X Robot Face” design language that inherits the brand’s core family genes, combining sleek lines with sporty elements to achieve a great balance between aerodynamic efficiency, visual appeal and practicality. Its front fascia features a smooth closed-off grille, forming a shark-style sporty front end, paired with split-type LED headlights and “Lightsaber” LED daytime running lights inspired by sci-fi elements, which enhance the vehicle’s recognition and sense of technology. The front end also integrates hidden sensing components and air intakes, which not only optimize aerodynamic performance but also ensure the normal operation of the vehicle’s thermal management system. The rear is designed with a full-width through-type LED taillight with diamond-cut reflective bowls, paired with a compact spoiler and a high-positioned black rear surround, highlighting a dynamic and neat appearance while improving driving stability.
In terms of body colors, the Xpeng G3 offers a variety of distinctive options, including classic colors such as Nebula White, Obsidian Black, and Crescent Silver, as well as popular bright colors that cater to young users’ aesthetic preferences. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,495 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width, and 1,610 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,625 mm, belonging to a compact pure electric SUV with 5 doors and 5 seats. It provides multiple wheel options, including 17-inch standard wheels and 18-inch sporty wheels matched with 215/55 R17 tires, combined with hidden door handles and a floating roof, effectively reducing the drag coefficient to 0.295Cd and perfectly adapting to daily urban commuting and leisure travel.
Interior Design
The Xpeng G3 features a driver-oriented “Space Cockpit” design, creating a comfortable, intelligent and user-friendly driving experience with high-quality materials and advanced configurations. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, powered by an advanced intelligent chip and Xmart OS, delivering a smooth and responsive visual and interactive experience. The interior is wrapped in high-quality soft materials and delicate stitching, paired with a 1.889-square-meter panoramic front windshield that extends to above the front seats, creating a broad visual field and a strong sense of space. It also comes with multi-layer sound-insulating glass and intelligent noise reduction, ensuring a quiet and comfortable cabin environment.
Interior color schemes include Elegant Gray, Deep Space Gray and optional blue-and-white two-tone, catering to different personalized preferences. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with practical and comfortable configurations such as a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, ergonomically designed seats, front seat heating and ventilation (for high-spec versions), a high-quality audio system, and a 15W wireless fast charging pad. It also supports multiple intelligent interaction functions, including full-scene voice interaction, OTA upgrades, and intelligent car control via mobile APP, realizing seamless connection between people and vehicles. The vehicle is also equipped with a 380L rear trunk, which can be expanded by folding the rear seats, enhancing daily use convenience.
Powertrain
The Xpeng G3 is a pure electric vehicle equipped with a front-mounted single permanent magnet/synchronous electric motor and a front-wheel drive system, paired with a single-speed electric transmission. The electric motor delivers a maximum power output of 145 kW and a peak torque of 300 Nm, ensuring smooth and responsive performance during daily driving. It has an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.6 seconds and an official top speed of 170 km/h, perfectly meeting the needs of urban commuting and occasional leisure travel.
The vehicle is equipped with different capacity battery packs according to the version, including 50.5 kWh and 66.2 kWh ternary lithium battery packs, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 401 km and 520 km to meet different travel needs. In fast-charging mode, it can be charged from 30% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes, effectively reducing charging time and improving travel efficiency. Additionally, it is equipped with a front MacPherson independent suspension and a rear trailing arm torsion beam suspension, which is tuned for comfort, ensuring excellent driving stability and ride comfort in various urban road conditions. It also supports an X-Pedal one-pedal driving mode and an intelligent thermal management system, further enhancing the convenience and energy efficiency of daily use.
