Exterior Design
The Xpeng G7 adopts a futuristic and family-friendly “Light Chasing” design language that inherits the brand’s core family genes, achieving an excellent balance between aerodynamic efficiency, visual appeal and practical space. Its front fascia features a sleek closed-off grille paired with the second-generation X FACE family-style front end, integrated with split-type LED headlights and a full-width light strip, forming a bold X-shaped visual effect that enhances the vehicle’s recognition and sense of technology. The front also integrates hidden millimeter-wave radar and active air intakes, which not only optimize aerodynamic performance but also ensure the normal operation of intelligent driving systems. The rear is equipped with a full-width C-shaped taillight that echoes the front light strip, paired with a dual spoiler and an aggressive diffuser, highlighting a dynamic and refined appearance while improving aerodynamic stability.
In terms of body colors, the Xpeng G7 offers a variety of distinctive options inspired by the starry sky, including classic colors such as Nebula White, Obsidian Black, and Star Day Gray, as well as popular new colors like Star Twilight Purple, Crescent Silver, and Cloud Shell Beige, each with unique texture and style. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,892 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm, belonging to a mid-to-large intelligent family SUV. It provides multiple wheel options, including 20-inch dual-tone wheels with X motif and 21-inch forged wheels, combined with flush door handles and floating frameless rearview mirrors, meeting diverse aesthetic needs and perfectly adapting to daily commuting and family travel.
Interior Design
The Xpeng G7 features a driver-oriented wrap-around cockpit design based on the “Light Rhythm Utopia” concept, creating a comfortable, intelligent and high-end driving experience with premium materials and advanced configurations. It is equipped with an 87-inch “Light-Chasing Panoramic” AR-HUD developed in collaboration with Huawei, a compact instrument screen, and a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8295P chip and Tianji AIOS 6.0, delivering a smooth and responsive visual and interactive experience. The interior is wrapped in high-quality Nappa leather and European imported real wood trim, paired with delicate stitching and 256-color ambient lighting, highlighting both comfort and premium texture. It also comes with a large panoramic sunroof and front and rear silent electric suction doors, ensuring a quiet and comfortable cabin environment.
Interior color schemes include Secret Realm Blue, Warm Sun Orange, Elegant Gray, and Deep Space Gray, catering to different personalized preferences. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with practical and comfortable configurations such as a two-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, four seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions, a 20-speaker high-end HIFI audio system with 7.1.4 channels, and dual 50W wireless fast charging pads. It also supports multiple intelligent interaction functions, including four-zone voice interaction, vehicle exterior voice control, and AR lane-level navigation, realizing seamless connection between people and vehicles. The vehicle is also equipped with a 42L front trunk and an 819L large rear trunk, which can be expanded to 2277L when the rear seats are folded, enhancing daily use convenience for family travel.
Powertrain
The Xpeng G7 offers two power versions: pure electric and extended-range. The pure electric version is equipped with a rear permanent magnet/synchronous motor or dual-motor all-wheel drive system, with a maximum power output of up to 218 kW and a peak torque of 450 Nm. The extended-range version is equipped with a hybrid system combining an electric motor and a range extender, with a combined maximum power output that ensures smooth and powerful performance. Both versions are paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.5 seconds for the rear-wheel drive version and a faster acceleration for the all-wheel drive version, and an official top speed of up to 210 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with different battery packs according to the version: the pure electric version is equipped with a high-capacity battery pack based on the 800V high-voltage silicon carbide platform, offering a CLTC-rated range of up to 702 km; the extended-range version offers a comprehensive CLTC range of up to 1704 km, with a pure electric range of 430 km. In fast-charging mode, the pure electric version can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 12 minutes, and can supplement up to 436 km of range in 10 minutes, with a maximum fast-charging power of 5C. Additionally, it is built on the Tai Chi AI chassis, equipped with front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, as well as intelligent variable damping shock absorbers, ensuring excellent handling performance and driving stability in various road conditions.
