Exterior Design
The iCAR V23 adopts the same tough and personalized off-road design language as other iCAR models, featuring a square and retro front fascia with three optional grille styles: a closed panel with the prominent “iCAR” letter logo in the center, and a three-hole grille with the “V23” emblem in the middle, boasting high recognition. It is equipped with classic round headlights, with transparent-shell millimeter-wave radars on both ends of the tough front bumper, and the A-pillar angle is nearly vertical, paired with hidden door handles, expanded wheel arches and aluminum side steps, highlighting its off-road temperament. The rear is equipped with a side-opening tailgate, a “small schoolbag” – style external storage box connected to the interior, and a high-mounted brake light, enhancing its practicality and personality. The body is available in six color options: Orange, Dark Gray, Black, Silver, Green, and Pearl White.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,220 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. The no-load minimum ground clearance reaches 200 mm (210 mm for the four-wheel drive version), with an approach angle of 42° (43° for the four-wheel drive version), a departure angle of 40° (41° for the four-wheel drive version), and a maximum wading depth of 600 mm, delivering excellent off-road passability. The body adopts an iconic square box shape with a 1:1 aspect ratio, and offers 19-inch and 21-inch wheel options, with 255/55 R19 AT tires available for the 19-inch wheels, which not only enhances the tough visual effect but also improves driving stability and off-road performance.
Interior Design
The iCAR V23 is equipped with an optional 8.88-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.4-inch 2.5K floating central touchscreen, paired with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 cockpit chip, delivering a smooth and outstanding visual and operating experience. It supports Apple CarPlay wireless connection and Switch direct connection to the vehicle machine, meeting personalized entertainment needs. Interior color schemes include black, white, green and other options, catering to personalized preferences. The interior adopts a combination of high-quality materials, with a center console designed with straight lines and square air outlets, retaining physical buttons for air conditioning and volume control, and the seats are made of skin-friendly and antibacterial fabric, which is maternal and infant grade health certified, enhancing the overall comfort and texture.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 19-inch wheels, airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, and other practical functions. The higher-spec versions add L2+ advanced driver-assistance systems, active braking, 540° perspective anti-scratch function, automatic parking and remote parking, as well as practical features such as 6kW external power output and a 360-degree camera system. The vehicle is also equipped with more than 20 flexible storage spaces, and the rear seats can be fully folded flat, with a maximum expanded space of 1366L, meeting the needs of daily commuting and outdoor camping scenarios.
Powertrain
The iCAR V23 offers two powertrain versions: rear-mounted single electric motor and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The single-motor rear-wheel drive version delivers a maximum power output of 185 kW and peak torque of 300 Nm, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.1-7.4 seconds. The dual-motor four-wheel drive (V23S) version has a total maximum power of 335 kW and peak torque of 490 Nm, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 4.5 seconds, and is equipped with a one-click Boost mode to further enhance power performance. Both versions are paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 170 km/h.
The iCAR V23 is equipped with different capacity battery packs according to the version: the entry-level two-wheel drive version is equipped with a 59.93 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery pack, the long-range two-wheel drive version and four-wheel drive version are equipped with an 80.16 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The CLTC-rated range is 401 km (entry-level two-wheel drive), 550 km (long-range two-wheel drive) and 501 km (four-wheel drive). In fast-charging mode, the entry-level version takes approximately 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% with a maximum fast-charging power of 85 kW, while the long-range and four-wheel drive versions support 160 kW ultra-fast charging, taking only 20-35 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, effectively reducing range anxiety.
