The Wuling Starlight S EV, positioned as a pure electric compact SUV, adopts a sleek and modern design language that combines dynamic aesthetics with practicality, tailored for home and daily commuting needs. It features a rounded and streamlined body structure that prioritizes aerodynamic performance and visual elegance, with a closed grille exclusive to electric vehicles, where the charging port is cleverly hidden in the center to maintain the overall integrity. The front fascia is equipped with distinctive split-type LED headlights, paired with sharp LED daytime running lights that enhance recognition, and the lower is fitted with a trapezoidal air intake decorated with a dot-matrix structure, adding a sense of hierarchy. The rear is designed with smoked LED taillights with a three-dimensional internal structure, matched with a small high-mounted spoiler and a black rear bumper adorned with gray trim, enhancing the sporty and refined feel. The side body adopts a through-type waistline and a floating roof, complemented by thick black wheel arches and five-spoke three-dimensional alloy wheels, creating a dynamic and powerful stance. The body is available in multiple fashionable color options, including Starry White, Star Curtain Black, and Aurora Blue, catering to the personalized aesthetic needs of young and family users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,745 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, featuring a long wheelbase design that ensures excellent interior space performance. The vehicle adopts a 5-door 5-seat SUV layout, with ample headroom and legroom in the front and rear rows to meet the riding needs of passengers of different heights. It is equipped with a full LCD instrument cluster that clearly and intuitively displays vehicle information such as speed, power, remaining range and energy consumption, paired with a floating central touchscreen (size varies by configuration) that supports intelligent functions such as voice interaction, mobile phone connection and OTA upgrade, enhancing the sense of technology and convenience. The interior adopts a two-tone color scheme, matched with soft wrapping materials and delicate stitching craftsmanship, and the seats are made of high-quality fabric or faux leather (depending on configuration), which are soft and breathable, ensuring comfortable riding experience even on long-distance trips. The cockpit layout is reasonable, with a flat-bottomed steering wheel designed ergonomically for easy operation, and multiple storage spaces around the driver and passengers to place mobile phones, water bottles and other small items, improving the convenience of use. The through-type air outlets and ambient lights (optional) further enhance the interior atmosphere.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, front and rear disc brakes, EPB electronic parking, AUTO HOLD automatic parking, ESC electronic body stability system, ABS+EBD system, tire pressure monitoring, front and rear airbags, front side airbags, side air curtains, and rear parking sensors, among other practical and safe functions. Powertrain
The Wuling Starlight S EV is uniformly equipped with a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, delivering a maximum power output of 150 kW and peak torque of 310 Nm, matched with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 175 km/h, ensuring sufficient power response during daily starting and acceleration. The vehicle is equipped with a 60 kWh lithium iron phosphate “Shenlian Battery” as standard, offering a CLTC-rated range of 510 km, which can fully meet the needs of daily commuting and medium-distance family trips. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 20 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and it also supports 6.6 kW AC slow charging, which takes about 10 hours to charge from 20% to 100% under normal temperature, meeting different charging needs of users. The vehicle has an official comprehensive power consumption of 14 kWh per 100 km, featuring excellent energy efficiency. It is also equipped with multiple driving modes including economy, standard, sport and personalized, and an energy recovery system, which can further improve energy utilization and cruising range, perfectly adapting to various travel scenarios such as urban commuting and long-distance trips.
