Exterior Design
The Baojun Kiwi EV adopts the “Future Geometric Aesthetics” design concept, which is consistent with its positioning as a pure electric microcar tailored for urban young groups, featuring a square and tough front fascia with a stacked closed design, rectangular LED headlights in a “back-shaped” style, and taillights that echo the front face, creating a highly recognizable “cute face” appearance. The side of the body is equipped with a floating cockpit structure, hidden door handles and low-drag wheels, along with two-tone body color, enhancing its sci-fi and fashionable atmosphere. The body is available in multiple color options, including Matcha, Mocha, Twilight, Night Shine, Rouge, Emerald Green and a special edition Strawberry Pink, catering to diverse personalized aesthetic needs.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 2,894 mm in length, 1,655 mm in width, and 1,595 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,020 mm. It adopts a 3-door 4-seat hatchback structure, which is compact and flexible, making it easy to shuttle through urban streets and park accurately. The rear seats are independent designs, which not only ensures riding comfort but also improves the flexibility of seating and storage, perfectly meeting the needs of daily urban commuting.
Interior Design
The Baojun Kiwi EV is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch central touchscreen, forming a connected screen design that delivers a fashionable and intelligent visual experience. It is integrated with an upgraded UI interface and Gaode map, which can realize synchronous connection between mobile phones and vehicle machines. Interior color schemes include Interstellar Black, Future Silver, as well as light and dark two-tone matching options, with the light interior adopting dark cool gray contrast and the dark interior combining classic carbon black with rose gold, catering to different personalized preferences. The interior is made of environmentally friendly materials, and is also equipped with ergonomic seats to further enhance riding comfort.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 13-inch aluminum alloy wheels, LED headlights with height adjustment and delay off function, electronic parking brake, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, ESC, front dual airbags, and PM2.5 filtering device, among other practical functions. The higher-spec models add hidden electric door handles, 360-degree panoramic camera, full-speed adaptive cruise, Level 2 intelligent driving assistance system, as well as Lil KiWi virtual image voice control system that supports continuous dialogue and wake-up-free dialogue, along with VTOL mobile power station function for a more convenient and premium experience.
Powertrain
The Baojun Kiwi EV is equipped with a rear-mounted single electric motor delivering a maximum power output of 40 kW and peak torque of 150 Nm. It is paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 105 km/h. The Baojun Kiwi EV is equipped with a 31.7 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 305 km. It is also equipped with a battery temperature management system with low-temperature heating function. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 60 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and it takes about 5 hours to fully charge in slow-charging mode, ensuring convenient daily urban use.
