The Cadillac IQ Lyriq adopts Cadillac’s exclusive pure electric pioneering design language, integrating V-series racing genes with modern electric vehicle aesthetics. It features a bold front fascia dominated by a 1.8m ultra-wide illuminated grille, which is made of astronaut goggle material and presents a futuristic 3D texture through laser etching technology, making the iconic Cadillac emblem stand out prominently. The vehicle is equipped with inherited signature vertical lightning LED headlights, composed of 9 ultra-slim 15mm LED lamp groups that retain classic brand recognition while enabling intelligent high and low beam switching. At the rear, striking vertical LED taillights become a distinctive design element, accentuating the vehicle’s powerful and dynamic profile, complemented by a sharp rear diffuser that enhances its sporty stance. The body is available in multiple color options, including Obsidian Black, Crystal White Tricoat, and limited-edition colors such as Luminous Moon White, Dusk Rain Sky Blue, and Morning Sun Crimson, which can be optionally equipped on any configuration model.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,003 mm in length, 1,977 mm in width, and 1,637 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,094 mm, providing ample interior space for both front and rear passengers. The overall interior space is spacious and comfortable, paired with a 1.83㎡ extra-large panoramic glass roof made of double-layer laminated glass, which can block 99.97% of ultraviolet rays and is equipped with a sunshade to enhance privacy, offering passengers a “full-frame” view of the sky. The rear seats are designed for comfort and practicality, ensuring a relaxed riding experience even on long journeys.
Interior Design
The Cadillac IQ Lyriq boasts a luxurious and technologically advanced interior, featuring a 33-inch curved advanced LED display with 9K resolution, 10 billion colors, and an ultra-high dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1, delivering a stunning visual experience and integrating vehicle data and entertainment functions in an intuitive interface. Interior color schemes are meticulously crafted, including combinations of Inteluxe seating with perforated inserts and Santorini Blue accents paired with dark paperwood décor, as well as high-end options like Oxford Stone Nappa leather seating with garnet accents and dark ash genuine open-pore wood décor, catering to diverse personalized preferences.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 20-inch dynamic 12-spoke alloy wheels, front and rear airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, 126-color LED dual-zone ambient interior lighting, and a panoramic fixed glass roof with a power shade, among other practical and luxurious functions. The higher-spec premium version adds Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance technology with a 3-year OnStar One Plan, an AKG studio 19-speaker audio system, Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 theater-level panoramic sound, ventilated and lumbar massaging front seats, a 360-degree camera system, and 3.3 kW external power output, further elevating the luxury and intelligent experience. Additionally, the interior is equipped with a unique “Tree Shadow” ambient light, which uses laser engraving technology on natural real wood to create light-transmitting patterns with 26 color changes, adding a touch of elegance to the journey.
Powertrain
The Cadillac IQ Lyriq offers diverse powertrain options to meet different driving needs. The rear-wheel drive (RWD) version is equipped with a single permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering a maximum power output of 250 kW and peak torque of 440 Nm, paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 190 km/h and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds. The all-wheel drive (AWD) dual-motor version has a combined maximum power of 384 kW and peak torque of 610 Nm, achieving more powerful performance.
The vehicle is equipped with a 95.7 kWh Ultium NCMA lithium battery pack as standard, offering a CLTC-rated range of up to 653 km, with real and non-exaggerated range performance certified by a third-party authority. In fast-charging mode (up to 190 kW DC), it takes approximately 10 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%, adding 96 km of range in just 10 minutes—equivalent to a cup of coffee’s time to get a full day’s power. It also supports 11.5 kW AC on-board charging, with a full charge taking about 9.8 hours, providing convenient charging options for daily use and long-distance travel. The battery pack adopts seven core thermal management technologies and nano-level aerospace aerogel insulation, with a heat insulation temperature of over 600℃, ensuring comprehensive safety protection.
