Exterior Design

The Changan UNI-K iDD adopts the unique design language of the UNI series, featuring a borderless grille that breaks the traditional grille form, paired with starship-style split headlights and distinctive trident-shaped daytime running lights, which together create a strong sense of future technology. The rear is equipped with an integrated through-type taillight and a high-mounted spoiler inspired by aerospace vehicles, complemented by a bilateral exhaust layout, further enhancing its sporty and sophisticated appearance. The body is available in multiple color options: Atomic Gray, Starry White, Star Diamond Black, Interstellar Gray, Azure Blue, Matte Carbon Gold Gray, and Frosted Mica White, catering to diverse aesthetic needs.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,865 mm in length, 1,948 mm in width, and 1,690/1,700 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. The optimized front and rear overhangs and smooth body lines make the overall layout more spacious and coordinated, presenting a sporty posture comparable to luxury SUVs with an aspect ratio of 0.87. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which not only improves the flexibility of seating and storage space but also provides convenience for camping and loading large items. The hidden electric door handles are integrated with the body shape, enhancing the sense of refinement while optimizing aerodynamic performance.

Interior Design

The Changan UNI-K iDD is equipped with a triple-screen high-definition instrument cluster and a large high-definition central touchscreen, forming a four-screen interactive design that greatly enhances the interior sense of technology. Interior color schemes include Black, Senhai Blue + Gray, Black + Dawn Red, and Black + Bright Moon Gray, creating a simple, elegant and high-end atmosphere that meets personalized preferences. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 19/20/21-inch aluminum alloy wheels, front side airbags, rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system, cruise control, and a 67-inch (1.31㎡) panoramic sunroof, among other practical functions.
The higher-spec version adds Level 2+ driver-assistance systems, active braking, IACC integrated adaptive cruise, and APA6.0 remote intelligent parking, effectively reducing driving burden. It also comes with practical features such as 3.3 kW external power output, IMS intelligent cockpit interaction system, and AR enhanced reality instrument navigation, further improving the convenience and safety of driving. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a “zero-gravity” seat system, with 12-way electric adjustment for the driver’s seat and 8-way electric adjustment for the front passenger seat (some versions), as well as a full-scene intelligent voice interaction system, bringing a comfortable and intelligent driving experience.

Powertrain

The Changan UNI-K iDD is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a front-mounted Blue Whale NE 1.5T hybrid-specific engine and a permanent magnet synchronous single motor. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 125 kW and peak torque of 255 Nm, while the motor has a maximum power of 110 kW and peak torque of 330 Nm, achieving full-power output of the engine and motor for strong performance. It is paired with a 6-speed Blue Whale three-clutch electric drive transmission, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 8.1 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h.
The vehicle comes standard with a 28.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack (with cells from CATL or China Innovation Aviation), offering an NEDC-rated pure electric range of 135 km and a comprehensive NEDC range of over 1,000 km, with a feed-in fuel consumption of 5.5 L/100 km and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 0.9 L/100 km. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, effectively reducing charging time and meeting daily commuting and long-distance travel needs. It also supports multiple driving modes such as “intelligent iEV” mode, “powerful” mode, and “camping” mode, adapting to different driving scenarios.
