Exterior Design
The Chevrolet Menlo shares the same “Muscle Stereo Streamline” design language as other Chevrolet models, featuring a low and wide front fascia with a closed grille that integrates the charging port into the central “Gold Bowtie” logo, achieving a perfect combination of functionality and aesthetics. It is equipped with dual-arrow shaped full LED matrix headlights, paired with distinctive star-ring LED daytime running lights, which enhance the horizontal visual width of the vehicle and convey a sharp and technological vibe. The side of the body adopts a dynamic sloping roof design, combined with waistlines and star-directional flowing curves, creating a ready-to-run dynamic posture, while the innovative suspended roof and 17-inch two-color five-spoke sporty wheels further highlight its sporty temperament. The rear is equipped with dual-element LED taillights inspired by the FNR-X concept car, connected by a glossy black trim piece, and matched with a high-mounted spoiler and air dynamic surround kit, enhancing both sportiness and aerodynamic performance. The body is available in three color options: Hydrogen Blue (a new energy exclusive color), Pearl White, and Phantom Black, catering to the personalized aesthetic needs of different urban users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,665 mm in length, 1,813 mm in width, and 1,513 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,660 mm. The 2,660 mm wheelbase ensures a spacious 5-door 5-seat interior space that meets the needs of family travel and daily commuting. The front and rear interior headroom and legroom reach a comfortable level for a compact electric vehicle. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, which not only increases flexibility for storage and seating but also expands the trunk space from 433L to 1077L, easily accommodating luggage, sports equipment and other items for long-distance travel.
Interior Design
The Chevrolet Menlo features a dual-cockpit design with a layered center console and dynamic sculptural curves, which enhances the overall spatial sense of the cockpit by extending the horizontal visual proportion. It is equipped with a full-color TFT liquid crystal instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch floating central touchscreen, supporting the latest generation of MyLink+ intelligent connectivity system, which can realize voice control, OTA remote upgrade, Apple CarPlay and Baidu CarLife connection, delivering a smooth and intelligent operation experience. Interior color schemes include Tech Gray, Black and Beige dual-tone options, creating a comfortable and technological atmosphere. The cockpit is covered with degradable environmentally friendly leather and refined plastic panels, and the three-dimensional cut seats provide excellent wrapping and lateral support, ensuring a comfortable riding experience for long journeys. It is paired with a multi-function steering wheel and a starry sky full-screen sunroof, further enhancing the sense of luxury and comfort.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 17-inch wheels, front side airbags, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, keyless entry and one-button start, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems (including FCA forward collision warning, LDW lane departure warning, SBZA side blind zone alarm), APA intelligent parking assistance, as well as practical features such as front seat heating, 360-degree panoramic camera system and 28 storage spaces inside the car, further enhancing driving safety and convenience performance.
Powertrain
The Chevrolet Menlo is equipped with a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, delivering a maximum power output of 110 kW and peak torque of 340 Nm. It is paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official top speed of 170 km/h. The Chevrolet Menlo comes standard with a 61.1 kWh high-performance ternary lithium battery pack, offering an NEDC-rated range of up to 518 km. It supports three driving modes (Eco, Normal, Sport) and three energy recovery modes, which can meet different driving habits and further improve energy efficiency.
In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 40 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, and it supports slow charging which takes about 9.5 hours to fully charge. The battery is equipped with an intelligent water circulation temperature control system and has passed 7 categories and 13 types of battery safety tests, ensuring stable performance in extreme weather. With a comprehensive power consumption of about 12.6 kWh per 100 km, it is energy-efficient and cost-effective, making it suitable for daily urban commuting and long-distance intercity travel.
