It features a compact and neat front fascia with a closed grille that highlights its new energy identity, and the integrated front logo conceals the charging port, realizing a perfect combination of functionality and simplicity. The front face is decorated with a large number of black elements, which are connected to the headlight groups and matched with subtle chrome accents, creating a young and personalized visual effect. The halogen headlight groups are simple in shape, paired with basic daytime running lights, which meet daily lighting needs while keeping the overall design concise. The side of the body adopts compact and tough lines, with wide black wheel arches that add a touch of rugged SUV temperament, paired with 14-inch steel wheels that are practical and durable. Due to the positioning and price, the center console and door panels are mainly made of hard plastic materials, and the overall assembly process is practical. The center console is laid out neatly, with a simple深浅 color matching and a small amount of golden decorative elements, which relieves the sense of cheapness brought by hard materials and makes the cockpit atmosphere not dull. It is equipped with a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster that clearly displays key information such as vehicle speed, power and mileage, meeting daily viewing needs. The central control area adopts a knob-type shift mechanism, which is surrounded by a suspended design, adding a touch of design sense. The three-spoke steering wheel is simple in shape, easy to hold, and integrates basic control functions to facilitate driving operation. The whole series is standard with basic safety and practical configurations including tire pressure alarm, main and co-pilot safety airbags, rear parking radar, energy recovery system, low-speed driving warning, manual air conditioning, electric adjustment of exterior rearview mirrors, and front and rear electric windows. The high-spec PRO Lightning version is additionally equipped with a fast charging function, which improves the convenience of energy supplement. It also has a battery preheating function to ensure stable battery performance in low-temperature environments. Powertrain
The Dongfeng Nano EX1 is a pure electric vehicle focusing on urban commuting, equipped with a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor as standard for the whole series, with a maximum power output of 33 kW (45 horsepower) and a peak torque of 125 Nm, paired with a single-speed electric transmission. The power output is smooth and linear, without shifting, which is very suitable for urban driving scenarios such as starting at traffic lights and following cars. The official top speed can meet the needs of urban roads and ordinary expressways, and the power performance is sufficient for daily commuting, but the acceleration performance in the later stage is relatively moderate. The vehicle is equipped with a 15.97 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack as standard for the whole series, with a CLTC pure electric cruising range of 201 km, which is fully capable of meeting daily urban commuting and short-distance travel needs, and is suitable for users with fixed charging conditions.
In terms of charging, the Dongfeng Nano EX1 supports both fast charging and slow charging (the low-spec PRO Standard version does not have a fast charging function). The high-spec PRO Lightning version can be charged from 30% to 80% in about 0.53 hours in fast charging mode, which is convenient for emergency energy supplement. The slow charging time of the whole series is about 3 hours, which can be completed by using a home charging pile or a public slow charging pile, suitable for charging at night or during rest. The battery pack adopts reliable lithium iron phosphate material and has passed relevant safety tests to ensure charging and use safety. The chassis adopts a practical suspension structure, which is tuned to be more comfortable, effectively filtering road bumps and providing a stable driving experience. The vehicle is small in size and light in weight, with flexible steering, easy to turn and park in urban narrow roads, and low driving difficulty, which is very suitable for novice drivers and urban commuters.
