Exterior Design
The Exeed RX (also known as Exeed Yaoguang in the domestic market) adopts the brand’s unique “Atlantis Light Aesthetics” design language, which won the 2022 IDA International Design Gold Award, showing a perfect combination of premium sense, technology and sportiness. It features a borderless “Interstellar Window” grille with a dot-matrix internal structure, paired with X-shaped starship-style daytime running lights, creating a bold and avant-garde visual impact. The side of the body adopts a low-slung and wide-body posture with a 1.149 width-to-height ratio, complemented by a fighter jet cockpit-style sloping roof and a fighter jet tail spoiler, shaping a sporty stance like a sports car while optimizing aerodynamic performance with a drag coefficient as low as 0.32.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,781 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,671 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm, positioning it as a mid-size luxury SUV with spacious and comfortable interior space. It is equipped with hidden door handles and petal-shaped alloy wheels, which further enhance the minimalist and refined texture of the whole vehicle. The body is available in multiple color options, including Rhinoceros Horn Gray, Red Fox Red, Peacock Tail Green, Swallow Tail Black, Squirrel Gray and Ivory White, and some versions offer a two-tone body design with a matte black roof, meeting the diverse aesthetic needs of users. The rear is equipped with through-type galaxy taillights with an intelligent light language system that can rhythm with the music played in the car, paired with a star ring welcome light carpet, creating a noble sense of ceremony for getting on and off the car.
Interior Design
The Exeed RX features a suspended wrap-around cockpit design, focusing on “minimalist technology and eco-luxury”, with a large area of soft materials and leather wrapping, complemented by exquisite stitching craftsmanship and galaxy-surrounding colorful ambient lights, creating an immersive and high-end driving space. It is equipped with a 24.6-inch curved dual-screen combination (including a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 14.8-inch floating central touchscreen), powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and matched with the Lion Zhiyun 5.0 or 6.0 system, supporting 3-second fast boot, 2-second identity recognition, 30-second continuous processing of more than 20 commands, intelligent voice interaction and AR-HUD augmented reality navigation, bringing an excellent visual and interactive experience.
Interior color schemes include classic black, black & brown and a new Coral Red option, paired with NAPPA genuine leather seats, highlighting the luxurious and refined texture of the cabin. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with practical functions such as 20-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, LED automatic headlights, dual wireless chargers, PM2.5 air filtration system, keyless entry and one-button start, ensuring a comfortable and convenient travel experience. The higher-spec version adds more premium configurations, including ventilated, heated and massaging front seats, electric leg rests for the co-pilot, Sony audio system, power tailgate, and 32 ADAS driving assistance functions such as AVP autonomous valet parking and NOC high-speed pilot intelligent driving, further enhancing the sense of luxury and safety.
Powertrain
The Exeed RX is built on the M3X Mars Architecture 2.0, offering both fuel and plug-in hybrid (C-DM) versions to meet different user needs[3]. The fuel version is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine (codenamed SQRF4J20C) that has won the “China Heart” Top 10 Engine Award, delivering a maximum power output of 192 kW (261 hp) and peak torque of 400 Nm, paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission or an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, with an official top speed of 200 km/h and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 7.5-8.1 L/100 km.
The C-DM plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T Miller cycle engine and electric motors, with a combined power of the system reaching an excellent level. The four-wheel drive version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.26 seconds, paired with a high-capacity lithium battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated pure electric range of 165 km and a comprehensive range of over 1,400 km, with a feed fuel consumption as low as 4.2 L/100 km, achieving both powerful performance and energy conservation, and effectively solving the range anxiety of new energy vehicles. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with the advanced Flying Fish Super Sensing Chassis with CDC electromagnetic suspension, which can dynamically adjust the suspension damping according to road conditions, ensuring a smooth and stable driving experience.
