Exterior Design
The Hongqi EH7 adopts a design concept that combines the brand’s classic heritage with modern new energy aesthetics, featuring a closed front fascia that inherits the iconic “High Mountain Waterfall” design language, embedded with a luminous vertical Hongqi emblem and integrated LED matrix headlights, which enhance its sleek and futuristic visual appeal. The side waistline is smooth and elegant, extending from the front fender to the rear taillight, combined with a溜背 fastback roofline, hidden感应 door handles and subtle chrome trim, further highlighting its dynamic and refined posture. The rear is equipped with a through-type LED taillight with a seamless design, matched with a sporty rear bumper and a small-sized rear spoiler, balancing aesthetic appeal and aerodynamic performance. The body has a low drag coefficient for better driving efficiency and is available in multiple color options to cater to diverse aesthetic needs of different users.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,900 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm, positioning as a mid-size luxury sedan with a 4-door 5-seat layout. The interior space is spacious and comfortable, with a flat rear floor design that ensures ample legroom for rear passengers, effectively improving riding comfort. The rear seats feature a flexible 40/60 split-folding design, which increases flexibility for storage and seating, expanding the trunk volume to meet daily loading and long-distance travel needs.
Interior Design
The Hongqi EH7 features a minimalist and sophisticated interior with a “New Noble Refinedism” design concept and a T-shaped center console, creating a comfortable and tech-savvy driving atmosphere. It is equipped with a 6-inch full LCD instrument cluster with high resolution and a 15.5-inch curved central touchscreen, with clear display and smooth operation, supporting voice control, vehicle networking and OTA upgrades to enhance the intelligent experience. The optional AR-HUD head-up display projects key information such as navigation and vehicle speed directly in front of the driver’s field of vision, ensuring driving safety and convenience.
The interior is wrapped in high-quality materials, with leather seats (top-spec models adopt leather and suede mixed seats), soft-touch surfaces in high-frequency contact areas, and delicate trim panels, highlighting a sense of luxury. Multiple interior color schemes are available to meet personalized preferences. The seats are designed based on ergonomics, with the front seats supporting electric adjustment, heating and ventilation functions (massage function is available in higher-spec models), and all seats are designed to fit the human body curve, effectively reducing driving fatigue. In terms of features, the standard model comes with 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels, front and rear airbags, a 540-degree panoramic camera system, cruise control and a heat pump air conditioner, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds Level 2 driver-assistance systems, active braking, automatic parking, a fragrance system and steering wheel heating, further enhancing convenience and comfort.
Powertrain
The Hongqi EH7 is a pure electric vehicle that offers two power configurations: rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive version is equipped with a single permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power output of 253 kW and peak torque of 450 Nm, paired with a single-speed electric transmission, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.8 to 6.2 seconds and an official top speed of 190 km/h. The all-wheel drive version is equipped with a dual-motor combination (202 kW for the front motor and 253 kW for the rear motor), with a combined power of 455 kW and peak torque of 756 Nm, achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of only 3.5 seconds.
In terms of batteries and range, the Hongqi EH7 is available with ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate battery packs. The 111 kWh ternary lithium battery pack provides a CLTC range of 820 km for the rear-wheel drive version, supporting 365 kW ultra-fast charging, which can increase the range by 348 km in 10 minutes of charging. The 85 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack is equipped in the all-wheel drive version, with a CLTC range of up to 760 km (640 km for the 640 4WD version), supporting 280 kW fast charging, which can increase the range by 215 km in 10 minutes. The vehicle also has excellent low-temperature performance, with a range attenuation rate of no more than 25% in -20℃ environment, ensuring stable driving in winter.
