Exterior Design

The Leapmotor B01 adopts a youthful and elegant coupe-style design, featuring a sleek closed front grille that is a signature of pure electric vehicles, paired with a distinctive full-width LED light strip spanning the entire front fascia and layered sharp LED headlights, which greatly enhance the vehicle’s recognition and sense of technology. The side of the body boasts a smooth fastback silhouette with a 17.2° slant angle, complemented by flush door handles that not only add a sense of ceremony but also help reduce the drag coefficient. The roof is equipped with a subtly integrated lidar that maintains the overall aesthetic while supporting advanced intelligent driving functions. The rear is fitted with a small ducktail spoiler and a wing-shaped full-width LED taillight composed of 128 LED bulbs, paired with a rear diffuser decoration, creating a dynamic and futuristic visual effect. The body is available in three color options: Metal Black, Skyline Grey, and Starry Night Blue.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,770 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm. As a 4-door 5-seat compact sedan, its interior space is fully optimized to meet the needs of daily commuting and family travel. The interior headroom and legroom for both front and rear seats are ample, ensuring a comfortable seating experience for all passengers. The rear seats feature a 40/60 split-folding design, and the trunk has a volume of 460L, which greatly enhances storage and seating flexibility, easily accommodating daily necessities, luggage and outdoor gear.

Interior Design

The Leapmotor B01 features an interior design centered on “technology for all”, integrating practicality, comfort and intelligence. It is equipped with an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch 2.5K high-definition floating central touchscreen, paired with an electronic column-mounted shifter that simplifies the center console space. The combination of touch operation and physical buttons (for air conditioning, volume, etc.) balances technological sense and blind operation convenience. The interior is covered with a large area of soft materials, with two exquisite color schemes: Phantom Moon Purple and Cloudy Grey, and some models adopt bamboo charcoal fiber environmentally friendly fabrics that meet EU Class I maternal and infant certification standards. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, ABS, ESC, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and electronic power steering, among other practical functions. The higher-spec version adds heated/ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, 256-color ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, as well as advanced features such as a 360-degree panoramic image, transparent chassis and high-level navigation-assisted driving.

Powertrain

The Leapmotor B01 offers multiple powertrain options to meet different user needs for power and range. It is equipped with a rear-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous motor, with the entry-level version delivering a maximum power output of 100 kW and peak torque of 175 Nm, while the mid-to-high spec versions output a maximum power of 132 kW or 160 kW and peak torque of 175 Nm or 240 Nm respectively. All versions are paired with a single-speed electric transmission and a rear-wheel drive configuration, with an official top speed of 150 km/h or 160 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with lithium iron phosphate battery packs in three capacities: 43.9 kWh, 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh, offering CLTC-rated ranges of 430 km, 550 km and 650 km respectively. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 18 to 20 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. With excellent aerodynamic optimization, the drag coefficient is as low as 0.197, effectively improving energy efficiency and extending driving range. It also comes standard with a heat pump air conditioner and battery preheating function, adapting to different driving scenarios.
