Exterior Design
The Livan 8 adopts a modern and minimalist design language unique to Livan’s pure electric compact MPV series, featuring a closed front fascia that highlights its electric vehicle identity, with a hidden charging port integrated in the middle where the brand LOGO is located. A through-type LED light strip is perfectly integrated with the large-size grille (some models adopt a mesh structure), paired with sharp LED headlight groups, creating a strong visual impact. The lower part of the front bumper is decorated with linear chrome strips, enhancing the overall sense of refinement. On the side of the vehicle, the lines are smooth and neat, with a flat door design that improves the convenience of getting on and off, and the straight roof line ensures sufficient headroom for rear passengers. The rear design is simple and elegant, with a through-type taillight group whose internal structure adopts a folded line design, and a folded chrome decorative strip on the rear bumper that echoes the front face, further enhancing the sense of hierarchy. The body is available in three color options: Ice Crystal White, Jet Black, and Magnetic Gray, catering to the aesthetic needs of different consumer groups.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,812 mm in length, 1,909 mm in width, and 1,699 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,807 mm, which is a standard compact MPV size suitable for both family outings and commercial use. The interior space is reasonably arranged, and it offers two seating layouts: 5-door 5-seat and 5-door 7-seat (2+2+3 theater-style layout). The second-row independent seats support forward and backward sliding and backrest adjustment, ensuring comfortable seating for front and rear passengers. The second and third rows of seats can be folded in proportion, which greatly improves the flexibility of the storage space. The basic trunk volume reaches 459L, which can easily accommodate daily items or luggage, and the maximum expanded volume can meet the needs of long-distance travel.
Interior Design
The Livan 8 features a simple, comfortable and practical interior design with a touch of technological sense. The center console is equipped with a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 10.33-inch floating central touch screen, which supports CarPlay and CarLife mobile phone connection, delivering a clear and easy-to-operate visual experience. The interior design adheres to a warm and practical style, with soft materials used for the seats and door panels, and some high-spec versions are equipped with leather seats to enhance the riding comfort. The steering wheel is a multi-function type, which is convenient for the driver to operate various functions without taking hands off the wheel. In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with basic practical functions such as rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, cruise control, and central locking, meeting daily driving needs. The higher-spec long-range version adds more convenient and safe configurations such as lane departure warning, further improving the convenience and safety of use.
Powertrain
The Livan 8 is equipped with a front-mounted single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor, available in two power versions. The standard version delivers a maximum power output of 100 kW (136 horsepower) and peak torque of 230 Nm, while the upgraded version has a maximum power of 120 kW and peak torque of 240 Nm. It is paired with a single-speed electric transmission and adopts a front-wheel drive mode, with an official top speed of 130 km/h, which is suitable for both urban commuting and medium-distance travel. The Livan 8 comes with two battery options: the standard version is equipped with a 50.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering a CLTC-rated range of 407-425 km; the long-range version is equipped with a 68.03 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, with a CLTC-rated range of 515-545 km. In fast-charging mode, it takes approximately 40 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%, effectively relieving users’ range anxiety. The whole vehicle is equipped with a liquid cooling system and supports ultra-low temperature preheating, with an 8-year or 200,000-kilometer battery warranty.
