Exterior Design
The Stelato S9, a luxury executive sedan under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility ecosystem, adopts an elegant and sleek design language based on the “Universal Aesthetics” concept, featuring a streamlined front fascia with a closed grille. The pure electric version and extended-range version have slightly different front designs: the extended-range version is equipped with a through-type chrome decorative strip at the lower air intake, while the pure electric version has a simpler lower air intake design, paired with Huawei’s galaxy headlights and a brand-new welcome light language with an interactive welcome light carpet and Kunpeng wing welcome light effect, enhancing its futuristic and luxurious temperament. The rear is equipped with a nebula through-type taillight with multi-layer mapping technology, and a sleek rear spoiler integrated into the trunk lid to optimize aerodynamic performance. An 896-line laser radar is mounted on the roof, and multiple sensors are reasonably arranged around the vehicle, perfectly integrating technological functions with the overall design without damaging the smooth body lines. The vehicle is equipped with a new “Universal Star” logo, which adopts a hexagonal outline and micron-level electroforming process, showing excellent texture.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,160 mm in length, 1,987 mm in width (2,005 mm for the extended-range version), and 1,486 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,050 mm, positioning it as a mid-to-large luxury sedan and ensuring ample interior space for a comfortable riding experience for five passengers. The body is available in multiple color options, including Universal Red, Starlight Gold, Gilded Black, Deep Space Gray, Ceramic White, and the newly launched Moon Velvet White, as well as optional Obsidian Package including blackened logos and black window frames. The side profile features frameless doors, hidden door handles, electric suction doors and ultra-narrow rearview mirrors (optional), paired with multi-spoke wheels, with a streamlined body design that achieves an excellent drag coefficient as low as 0.193cd, balancing aesthetics and energy efficiency.
Interior Design
The Stelato S9 features a luxurious and technologically advanced interior design with a universal aesthetic layout, following Huawei’s “extreme, simple and pure” design principle, centered on an integrated multi-screen interactive system including a full LCD instrument cluster, a large central touchscreen and multiple auxiliary screens, forming a super ten-screen full-matching configuration to deliver a seamless visual and interactive experience. It is equipped with the HarmonyOS intelligent cockpit, supporting functions such as voice control, multi-device seamless connection, gesture control and window-intercom, with a dedicated poetic universe theme interface, enhancing convenience and comfort for daily use. The interior is wrapped in high-quality materials such as Nappa leather and natural solid wood trim, with exquisite double quilting craftsmanship, and multiple interior color schemes including White Sand Apricot, Amber Brown, Nebula Red, Truffle Brown and Chicha Orange are available to meet different personalized preferences of users.
In terms of features, the standard model comes equipped with the HarmonyOS ALPS health cockpit, dual negative ion generator, 24-hour intelligent fresh air system, front and rear zero-gravity seats with ventilation, heating and massage functions, multiple safety airbags, a 540-degree panoramic image, intelligent electric doors with a maximum opening angle of 68 degrees, and a spacious storage space. The vehicle offers both five-seat and four-seat layouts: the five-seat version has a spacious rear space, while the four-seat version features rear first-class cabin seats with 12-way electric adjustment. The higher-spec version adds the HUAWEI ADS 4 advanced driver-assistance system, a 32-inch intelligent projection screen, a HUAWEI SOUND SUPERIOR audio system with 25 speakers and 7.1.4 surround sound layout, as well as a panoramic sunroof and full-car sunshade system, further improving the riding experience and technological sense.
Powertrain
The Stelato S9 offers two power options: extended-range and pure electric, both paired with an electric transmission and based on Huawei’s new Tuling platform. The pure electric version is available in rear-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations, with a maximum power of 227 kW for the rear-wheel drive version, and a combined system power of 385 kW for the all-wheel drive version (158 kW for the front motor and 227 kW for the rear motor), with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.92 seconds and an official top speed of 214 km/h, delivering strong and smooth driving performance.
The pure electric version is equipped with a high-capacity battery pack based on Huawei’s 800V Whale battery platform, offering a long CLTC-rated pure electric range. The extended-range version is equipped with Huawei’s Snow Owl intelligent extended-range system, paired with a rear single motor with a maximum power of 227 kW, available with different capacity battery packs, corresponding to a CLTC pure electric range of different levels and a comprehensive cruising range of up to 1300 km. Both versions support fast charging, taking approximately 15 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%, ensuring efficient energy supplement. In addition, both versions are equipped with an air suspension, continuous variable damping shock absorber CDC and a digital intelligent chassis with front double wishbone and rear multi-link suspension, ensuring excellent driving performance and comfort.
