Exterior Design
The Tesla Model S adopts a full-size luxury sedan body design with a closed front grille and integrated LED headlight sets. It is equipped with LED daytime running lights and full LED taillight assembly. The vehicle is fitted with hidden door handles and an electric trunk lid. Available exterior body colors include Solid Black, Midnight Silver Metallic, Deep Blue Metallic, Pearl White Multi-Coat and Red Multi-Coat.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 5,021 mm in length, 1,987 mm in width, and 1,431 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,960 mm. The car is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with optional 21-inch alloy wheels. Standard exterior configurations include automatic headlights and aerodynamic exterior components.
Interior Design
The Tesla Model S features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.4-inch central horizontal touchscreen and a 9.4-inch rear touchscreen. The interior adopts vegan leather upholstery materials, with optional interior color schemes including all-black and black-white dual tone. Standard configurations include front, side and curtain airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree panoramic camera system, and cruise control.
The vehicle is equipped with standard advanced driver-assistance systems, active braking, lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring. Additional practical configurations include multi-way power-adjustable front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions, three-zone automatic climate control and interior ambient lighting. The vehicle adopts a 5-seat layout.
Powertrain
The Tesla Model S offers dual-motor all-wheel-drive and tri-motor all-wheel-drive Plaid versions, both matched with a single-speed electric transmission. The dual-motor version delivers a comprehensive maximum power of 493 kW, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. The tri-motor Plaid version outputs a comprehensive maximum power of 760 kW, with an official 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.1 seconds and a top speed of 322 km/h.
The vehicle is equipped with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack. The CLTC pure electric cruising range is 715 km for dual-motor versions and 637 km for Plaid versions. The vehicle supports DC fast charging and AC slow charging. The vehicle adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear multi-link independent suspension.
